Yess thank you! I’m an avid skater who has never found the time to take lessons and I have been having trouble learning how to stop... and the figure skaters that practice during the public skating period are so intimidating so I never asked them lol

I see you are trying to teach 2 of the Pentatonix to skate. Mahaha! You need to get them to almost sit to bend their knees more. Also teaching them to sideways slide walk will get them pushing more with their blades. Then do the stopping exercise. That's how we get CanSkaters (learn to skaters) to stop in Canada.
PS: Sideways slide stepping can also progress to sideways stepping, then walking crosscuts and then after they learn to hold an outside edge around a circle on the foot closest to the middle of the circle and do inside edge pushes with their outside the circle free foot, they can progress to crosscuts around the circle.
Anyone able to skate gets my respect as I have NOOOOO balance. I cannot even ride a bike 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

What do you mean? Specifically, I don't know, but it looks like they're figure skates with a revolution parabolic blade. Hope this was helpful

To be honest, Snow Plow was the hardest stop for me to learn with T-Stop being my favourite 😂

I can do a hockey stop and a snow plow sometimes, but only on one foot
It's just practice I think... But I rarely use the Snow Plow
