0:41 I’m pretty sure this was intentional, but if you look at the mugshot plate Henry’s holding, it has the date 7/8/20. That doesn’t really mean anything if you’re seeing this in an American perspective. However, in Europe, it’s written day/month/year, unlike the month/day/year pattern the U.S. uses. If we read the date like that, it actually says 8/7/20, August, 7th 2020, which is the day the game came out on Steam.
I’m so happy that detail was put in here, as it’s hard to believe that this collection has almost being here for a year. And the fact that the game/fandom is still alive from small creators makes me happy, especially to all the people who played the earlier games before it grew this popular.

I'm seriously impressed with how much your style has improved over your absence! No joke, it reminds me of many japanese animators here. You're also incredibly accurate with drawing objects in this video, like Charles' gun.
And uh- that cutscene at the beginning? Oh man that was good. It was really well animated and paced (even if a bit choppy at the worst), a perfect opener to the song.
Speaking of the song; I loved what you did with it and the creative liberties you took. Most animators (including myself) usually go lyric by lyric and try to make it fit perfectly-or as perfectly as you can get. But with the song you chose, you let it set the mood and amplify the story we all know too well. (I've tried to do it before, it's _hard_ )
Also, sidenote, I'm absolutely jealous of your editing. The way you play with settings and transitions, how you place the words, I'm in love. Special mention to your use of negative filters. -I guess you could say that's a negative on Charles being alive?-
And along those lines, the way you repeated the chorus? Amazing. I blatantly abuse literary devices (repetition being one of them) and it made me cry in a good way (the VH ending on the other hand...)
The ending got me, I cried 10/10. No but seriously, the lip sync, Charles' last words, I hope you enjoy salty tears because I got a lot just for you.
I was going to make a "and in this essay I will-" joke, but then i actually did it, oops. Anyways, that's enough of me, I'm looking forward to whatever you may make next (no matter how long it takes), and best of luck!

for my editing, honestly i think the transitions that i used are rather simple 😅 , i still get a lot of things i need to learn.. but thank you if you thought so ! it does take practice and watch many tutorials too 🙏

When I was a child I went through the browser version of Henry, a few years later I played The Henry Stickmin Collection and had my good old time in fandom, admiring fanarts and reading (low quality) fanfics. Now I'm an adult and in college and RUclips randomly put it into autoplay. And I sit at my desk and I tear down, remembering how I first found this game and how excited I was to play it again and how I got to know the endings and my last one was Valiant Hero.
