Inanimate objects are often the most deserving of physical punishment
Sounds like Ron has been hanging around Andy a lot.
I predict ten minutes from now, they’ll beat each other’s throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick.
are we sure Rosa's not related to Ron? lmao
@@stingraii they are about to make the French Revolution look like a heated middle school debate
This is the perfect cold open: it displays everyone’s character perfectly through something as simple as arguing over a broken coffee pot. Genius.
Indeed. This is why it's one of the best scenes to mske to make a meme about.
true. I know literally nothing about parks and rec but I get their dynamic in under 2 minutes

this is even funnier when you remember that ben isn't even in ron’s department and outranks him, but he listens to him out of pure fear
I mean who would not?...
Ben didn’t outrank him at this point in the show.
I think Ben was a suspect because he frequented the Parks department often and probably used the machine a lot.
Don't know why Ann wasn't called in for this meeting. Maybe Ron forgot she existed.

I refer to this clip when people ask "what does chaotic neutral mean?"
Ohh I would love to know those people who ask that
isnt this more of a chaotic evil
@Urrcreavesh You're mistaken if he let's Leslie take the fall then he misses out on the chaos, his goal isn't to get a new coffee pot his goal was to start a fight. This has nothing to do if he likes her or not, this is all about his chaos.
Wait what does chaotic neutral mean?
@@steamin3354 A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions.
A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer).
A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random.

I love how Ron distracts the workplace for his personal amusement.
In other words, he's toxic. :-P

It's a crime that Nick Offerman was never even nominated for an Emmy.
I think Amy Poehler tried to petition or something to get Nick nominated, but it didn't work.
At least that's what I read somewhere.
Actually the Emmys aren’t worthy of Nick Offerman
Michael McNeely Ron Swanson could make an Emmy.
Wait, what?
But its not acting...
One of the benefits of having a really good ability to daydream and recreate the voices of damn near anyone in my head is that i can select pretty much any group of fictional characters and recreate this scene with them in my head to distract me from the homework i'm supposed to be doing
Same!! I love it, lol. :p

This may be low-key one of the new classic comedy routines. Nearly every fandom I can think of has a text post recreating this one scene.
I know right?! Alongside the "I want it that way" scene from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, every fandom you are in has to have an animatic with these audios over it. 😆
I literally did a "who broke it" for LPS popular:
ruclips.net/video/jMhKz_3cHwc/видео.html
@@LpsRoseGold Those two, and "The Thing You Can't Replace" by John Mulaney.
And the good thing about this scene is it's not out of character for ron to do it either. He's not lying by asking it to try and blame someone else (which is what he hates the most) he's simply asking who broke it which we know is him in hindsight. It's more of a "truth but not all the details."
