First make sure that u have good quality drums, u can find a lot of good drumkits on reddit. When it comes to mixing, make sure that the drums don't clash with the melody, for example, if your melody has some low end frequencies they will clash with the 808, but u can just use an eq to cut out unwanted frequencies. Also probably the most important aspect with drum mixing is leveling and there's really no correct way of doing it, just spend some extra time trying to find the right balance between the drums and mel. Keep in mind that you'll eventually get better as you train your ears over time, so don't worry too much as long as you can see improvement(:

@@seffuncken I reinstalled the bank and it works fine for me, remember you have to copy the folder with the vital presets (NOT just the folder inside of it) to the vital preset folder and they should appear in vital

that will help to reduce muddiness and clashing, but don't go too crazy with it, I usually cut out frequencies under 100hz
