I love getting players' perspectives and Scott is so damn knowledgeable and passionate about the game it's hard to believe he didn't play. I have an Aunt who lives in Toms River and could care less about baseball, but she adores Todd Frazier like all others in that community. I remember 40-year-old Kratz getting a Yank call-up during the Covid season and being a great uplifting story when we needed it and then I bought his book which proved he deserved the respect and attention he received during the '20 season where he hit .321.. I watched AJ play throughout his career and could never understand how such a durable, good-hitting catcher was being moved around so much. When he was playing the cliche was everyone hated him, but according to his FT appearances, he is beloved and respected by so many in baseball. FT has made my retirement a greater joy, thanks,. I'm pleased to see your influence growing so rapidly within the sport with your new Bally gig. You guys all deserve it.

Forget his career .280 batting average, nearly 200 homers, and catching more games than just 8 other players in MLB history, AJ should be in the Hall of Fame for his biting sarcasm, uncompromised honesty, and comedic chops. He's even beginning to make golf sound somewhat attractive.

Sliding into 2nd and you use your helmet that's in your hand to hold the bag. Safe! Sliding into 2nd and your helmet is off and against your chest and the tag. Out? No, why?

You can keep saying it like it's an insult if it helps you feel good, but it's already been co-opted to be a compliment because his stats speak for themselves.
