  • Trail of Ten Falls ... Silver Falls State Park is the crown jewel of the Oregon State Parks system, being both Oregon's largest State Park (9,000 acres) and boasting one of America's most impressive waterfall day-hikes. There are no less than ten falls on this 7.8 mile loop , and most of them are flat-out gorgeous. Most of the hike are along a creek (south fork and north fork creek) and some crossing a footbridge . The hike itself is not strenuous as u hike on a wide trail and less rocky .

We did this hike July 11 on a clockwise loop for around 9miles, we start on south falls . We like doing the loop , for quick hike just park your car south falls and drive your car north falls parking lot

@@comrades73 hey thanks, are there places nearby for food? We will not have the ability to do a bbq like you guys. We are coming in from Texas. Spending a few days in Seattle, then driving through Oregon for two nights then heading towards San Francisco. This trail was 9ne of the places I circled. Anything else you would suggest? We are gonna try to stay along the cost. Our hotel in Oregon is about a 6 hour south of Seattle.

@@comrades73 if you will, how were the hike up? Other than that stair master were there many like that? Your video made it look like an easy hike. Didn’t see many out of breath sections.

@@kaowtruck3900 if I were to do the trip , I would stay a night in Woodburn, Oregon then hike the 10Falls .. after that go to the coast if u still want to stay by the coastal... there is also a nice falls by Columbia River it's call Multnomah falls ... this hike is fairly easy and not much technical and some hills ,maybe slippery in some wet part... there's a Cafe in the park but just bring your own food for lunch on trail and after hike.. and shopping 🛍at Woodburn outlet for tax free... make sure check stateparks website for any closure ... have fun
