I just got the black “reverse panda” as a gift and really like it. If I were to get another I would go with a blue caliber 11. Honestly I like them all though and I’m big enough (6’3”, 240lbs) that while they do not look small on me by any means they do not appear comically large.
I lke the darker/richer blue on the Gulf, but could lose the racing stripe. Non-Gulf looks great as well, less vibrant blue looks maybe more retro? I like the Gulf racing strap. Would be glad to rock either of them!
Tag heuer its getting crazy with the prices!!!!, Tag heuer its going too fell down un sells this year, for less price i can buy a tudor panda crono, omega Speedmaster, zenith el primero, tag heuer its very spensive for what It is, no hay!!!
Hi Brad, I have to go against the majority view and say that I find these watches ugly and pretentious. My local TH AD wears a quartz version because he finds the mechanical model too chunky on his wrist, which is the same size as yours and mine. To answer your question though, I prefer the Gulf model, and I like the movement. At least LVMH have the Zenith brand to give us gorgeous chronographs... I was seriously impressed by the Chronomaster Original I tried on recently... it was hard to walk away from it... Thanks for showing us Brad, I'm sure that you'll sell these... eventually! 😉👋
The one that is not here. With the colorful Gulf logo at the bottom and caliber 11

In my opinion I would start with an Steve McQueen version which is the caliber 11 in French racing blue , but they are all just absolutely cool.
I like both, it will be a miracle if i'm ever in the financial position to own one.
I prefer the one I own. It's the reproduction of the original Paul Newman with a matted blue dial and sideways stick markers at the 1, 5, 7 and 11...

To much in price for a Mónaco!!
Got to be the Gulf if you're buying a Monaco.
Would be such a great acquisition if it were less thick…
