it would have been an ok movie to watch in anoother timeline, where not every Marvel movie tried to bring up a civilization ending power. It would have been much better if the movie instead used 3 lesser villains from each series and made kamala, marvel and rambo, fight them separate at first but teaming up later to defeat the three ones.

Good job on explaining all this Script….but my head still hurts following your breakdown 😂😂😂. The upside to this is I’m freeing up more time to do stuff like reading and either revisiting old favorite shows/movies and discovering new ones for me like One Piece🤷🏻♂️
The biggest obstacle for me to the Marvels is they are from inside Disney's walled garden. That automatically kills my interest in them.
Dar-Benn holding a grudge against capt marvel for destroying her planet is also stolen from Star Trek..like all of the new Star Trek movies had that same premise

There’s a lot of dumb elements to the Marvels but for me, Carol becoming a sun is ridiculous. Unearned not setup well and reinforces the fact she’s overpowered. Where’s the stakes in doing that? What does Carol have to loose? It’s funny because I’ve recently rewatched Disney’s Hercules( great film) and in that film’s end Hercules needs to save Meg from Hades by jumping into a well of souls. This eats at Hercules life and he nearly dies. This is great because in the movie we see how strong Hercules is but strength isn’t everything. To be a hero is to have inner strength and a willingness to put your life on the line. It’s codified by Zeus quote: the measure of a hero isn’t their muscles. But the strength of their heart. Imagine if Carol had to risk something and possibly die? You could tie that back with her reconciling her mistake with the Kree. And you have her struggle with that and wanting to make the galaxy a safer place. Tie that with maybe Kamala not liking Carol stopping her from saving the Skrull and a don’t meet your heroes moment/ avoid putting people as paragons and you got something. But that wasn’t the case. What we got was forgettable product.

1: Who builds a station that does not have enough life pods to get all the people off it. Was there anything in the story that increases the people beyond the standard crew limit? 2: Ms. Marvel has powers. And she can't fly or deal with falling? Regardless of her powers being altered. She can see make her hologram arms stretch. So make helicopter hands, or a parachute. She rips off Mr. Fantastic. And he's dealt with all these issues before. 3: Monica is trapped in another universe. So where are the incursions that should be happening? She just did what American Chaves did in MOM. And Chaves is the only special one that doesn't have the problem. RIIIIIGHT...

Did the Statue of Liberty appear to look like NEW copper, rather than the current 'tarnished' Green/Blue colour of our the Real World Statue of Liberty?
I thought that scene was supposed to be of the 'main world', but haven't other MCU movies shown the Statue of Liberty in it's current famous GREEN colour, rather than it's original Copper (shiny penny) colour it had before enduring a lifetime in New York Harbour?
Or was that shot of the Statue actually in some multiverse?

For November I am only interested in The Hunger Games prequel, Napoleon and the Thanksgiving horror film. Gaming Entertainment will make more money right now in films and streaming than Marvel because right now they have new compelling stories for movie lovers. After that famous Anime properties will also bring great new content to films and streaming while also making a lot of money for different studios. Marvel has to be more creative in their stories because every superhero film cannot always be about saving the world. Marvel has to give depth to their characters, add more original compelling stories and show why they are still relevant today with the current day issues that exist. Movie fans are flocking to new franchises which are not predictable and give many surprises.
There are countless planets in the universe that have air and water etc. that don't have any life. Why the fuck does Dar Ben go only after heavily populated planets?

You have to search long to find similar absurd scripts or even comics.
The people making these movies do not understand the genre or the concept of the hero's journey. That concept builds the audience's bond with characters and invests the audience in the character. Without that you get a lot of special effects and exposition. The foundation of the early phases of the MCU were built upon establishing characters meaningfully. We're not seeing this done well at all now. If at all.
That's not Disney's concern. Disney's concern is DIE and that trumps everything. Get the white and male out and what could possibly go wrong? LOL!

I can only say that I really like it, I had no issue with any of the items mentioned on by Script Doctor. I guess that to enjoy these movies you definitely need to forgo to have perfect solutions.... Then Again I enjoy Dr. Who stories .....

I began to shut things down for Marvel with the Eternals, and with Loki season 1. Very disappointed. Poor writing and the pandering introduction of derivative "diverse" characters was the beginning of the end.😔

The biggest problem with the movie is that it’s feminist and woke, even at the expense of a good story.
Maybe disney can try marketing The Marvels as euphemism of solving the conflict of diversity, inclusion and equity of our society??? Or solving the middle east conflict???

Ignoring the forced diversity and "the message", nothing that the characters did made me care or wonder happens to them. For whatever reason, writers haven't figured out what to do about Cpt Marvel's invulnerability. I'm not a writer, but I think the easiest way around this is very simple. Make a condition of brie's powers that her life force is diminished with each major power execution.
Then again, what am I thinking? The modern woman has no weaknesses

Marvel's biggest obstacle? Woke. It will destroy the franchise just like it's destroyed everything else it touches.
I would probably watch Kree Civil War if they made that - seemed promising. But this was just so overstuffed with nonsensical and lame elements to make up for a lousy premise and risible villain. Hmm, where to go next - more wacky and zany!
Perhaps the most dispiriting aspect of the film is the frankly desperate shoehorning of an All Fab Teen Girl Young Avengers into the end, and the Endgame bait and switch from the last trailer. They seem to be throwing a hail mary to the lowest common denominator, past glories and a girl power future, without the merest hint of growth or development.
Problem is women did not show up for this movie. Live by the (DIE) sword, die by the (DIE) sword. LOL!
Garbage movie bad acting in all. Nothing about this was good at all.
