I have a 2016 GX460 and much of this looks similar. I took a look at mine and the cable was seated properly. When I pulled the handle while looking at it I see no movement. Can I assume the cable is broken somewhere in the seat? Doesn't look like any easy way to replace it as the cable traverses all around the inside of the seat.

The same thing happened to my seat. Thank you for posting but how do you put the cable back in place?
