Every time I watch this video or play this song, it takes me back to a great friend I had. He could ride like no one else. Everyone was afraid to ride on the back of his bike except me. When I was a child I watched this video in 2012 at the time when I began to fall even more in love with the world of motorcycles, I remember as if it were yesterday, I went to my uncle's house and he put the video on his computer at the time I felt goose bumps all over my body and adrenaline rising, today 01/06/2022 I saw the video again and the feeling was exactly the same. I have seen a lot of MotoGp, WSKB and MxGP but Isle of Man is without a doubt the most hallucinating motorcycling sport only for crazy people in a good way.

To all newbies: No, you cant ride like that. It is a perfect symphony of riding experience, and of course risk. You can die in a heartbeat, it only needs a wrong decision in not even 1/10 of a second. This is why this is pure perfection, those guys are not only trained, they mastered riding over and beyond. Still there can always be cow sh*t in a corner and you die. Remember that. Thats the way legends are born.
And it's a very course specific riding skill. Would any professional racers from moto gp or wsbk ever race there? Over 250 riders have died on the IOM mountain course, over 150 during the TT race. Such a dangerous event. But spectacular when they get it right!
I have been a bicycle racer for 30+ years I have done 52 mph down hill I have took corners at30+ mph. Racing is life anything before or after is just waiting!
I'm old. Over 60. All of the music of my day is better than the new stuff. However... if this song and this video doesn't get your blood pumping, you're dead.

on-board footage changed viewing of the TT forever in the 80's - then in the last 10yrs or so, we got high-def footage and drones, which showed us previously unseen beauty to this brutal sport
@@geraldfreestyle6614 I recommend you go for a dirt bike if you have access to the trails. You can ride a street bike almost daily to school or to your job or whatever if you have a license, but it's really hard to take it somewhere that you don't have to worry about speed limits and traffic. On the trails, you have so much more freedom; just don't hit a tree.

@@yamahamer89 It might be strange to say, but if we all drive with a death-fear, no one of us would drive. Its dangerous hobby and even more dangerous sport, but the emotions it gives when you ride is worth it.
Above all else I hate music over motor videos. Except this one. Gripping visuals added a soundtrack that feels custom tuned to the sights on the screen. This video is a masterpiece, a recurring favourite on my list of things to love. It would be interesting to see the song re-mastered with some current racing footage- no, the current footage should be left as it is, you don't paint over a Monet because it's old. But some 4k rez with Within Temptation's glorious vocals overlaid... I'd watch that.
