it's like two extremes - first, you believe that money, power & body is everything & then you go to another extreme like renounce everything & torture your self & repress your desires. We need balance, and need to understand that truth is not in the extremes but beyond these two.

I think I feel I understand what's happening here. Its like the last celebration, the community is having with the girl as a mere human who leads a normal life. So, they celebrate as much as they can with that person happily and the person going to diksha is celebrating her happiness of getting closer to ultimate like a marriage but the only issue I have is that, the person who is going to take diksha is like doing a lot of enough damage to the environment which is completely against the ideology and purpose of the diksha (even if its for the community's happiness), like the lady is a level of higher intellect, I feel they should celebrate it in a way that honours her decision as well leaves very good memories. It's conceptually same like the same Ganesh Chaturthi issue, where idiots play DJ's and drink alcohol in front of Ganesh and dance like rental-guys in midnight. I mean it completely destroys the purpose.!!

For all those who are questioning this ceremony the logic goes like this :--
It's done for all those who are renouncing the world normal life and going to accept sainthood.. You are allowed to eat whatever you like, allowed to do your favourite activities so that no desire gets left out within you and then you are free to follow spiritual life..
Today we are born, because there was some soul desire to be born, if those desires are fulfilled you won't be born again.. So before renouncing, whatever is still left as desire you are allowed to do that and complete desires and then move towards sainthood..

In a society there will always be gurus who will help the people in materialistic world tread the path of divinity. She is just one of them. When one is devoted to god, feels incomplete in the materialistic world with all the luxuries and wants to devote their life towards the path of moksha, they go on to become saints. This is why after 20 yrs hinduism 🕉 country will vanish out as there will no major population related to hindhu or jain or guru. Then again we will go back to 100 yrs whose country was ruled by mugals ans akbhars.
May be within 20yrs india will also bcome other minor religions country. Then by hiding or secretly we should perform poojas or prayers in our own homes. What a plan for the upcoming yrs 😳 as there are no major populations will be increased in related to hindus.

HER choice over which there is no say. Now the next question of Was that choice itself free ? or does she know what she is getting in.?..A series of questions whose answers one can only guess. But yes, my only point is- you really don't need to do such big celebrations even if it's your last celebration. Cus ur "last" was the day you decided to giveup this wordly life. And i am not just pointing out the lavish celebrations..but also the video itself...its recording...editing..music...Alot of steps done..money wasted that is completely opposite of the main intention of this exercise. It's like trying so hard to make everything "look" and "feel" divine or pure but STILL missing the whole point.

      Hello mam,
Firstly, it has nothing to do with our money, it's their earned money so let them decide how they want to spend it, also it the title was grand wedding, the editing, the music ,the videography would have made sense right? So it's okay to spend money on marriages but not something like this where you and me aren't even related to the money. We all have big celebration for our birthdays, anniversaries, that time nobody questions? Why? Because it's their own PERSONAL CHOICE. this is too same their money their personal choice. And if you are telling they shouldn't have a last celebration for their daughter, it's nothing related to the girl ,these celebrations are for the families, parents and their relatives to cherish for a lifetime.

    • @iffatshabi2774
      @iffatshabi2774 2 года назад +4

@@priyankagoel7686 Acc to your logic - it's their money..their choice. I get it. RUclips is BASED on freedom. Anyone can upload ANYTHING.
If i accept your logic of freedom then someday if the girl wants to revert back to normal life AND make video of it... it should also be considered right..because "her choice." But that reverting would be unacceptable. Right? Why?
THAT is the point. I didn't write THIS IS WRONG. I wrote there is "no need". My question is not of freedom but how much can we "stretch" the freedom. Cus by ur logic, even nudity on roads should be acceptable. Cus it's THEIR CHOICE not my body.
However, coming back to my point.
Here my point was not freedom. But, originally, of - "intention". Marriage, birthday party is not a spiritual journey. The intention is NOT to reach God. But here, it's about leaving everything. The making of video, editing....wasting money...is missing the whole point. Now u may say well they do not have problem then why do u have.
Reason- Cus what you do AFFECTS PEOPLE/SOCIETY. Cus this "self-made practice" (not a part of ritual) slowly makes an environment of wasting money and pressure on those who are part of the community.Cus then after some years...their would be new functions added, more dresses, haldi n mehendi functions etc. There has to be a limit on freedom and a standard way of conducting rituals. As i said, its missing the goal completely. The goal is of tyaag.
Lastly, if one wants to "cherish"...one can cherish inside home. Cherish in a simple way. Give her respect. Touch her feet. Make poor people eat. Why 20 lakhs HAVE to be wasted??!!. Hope u get it.

I'm surprised to see the waste of grandeur they do as I have seen examples live wherein I saw two dikshartis at an Aggarwal sweet shop in Delhi in their white attire that the adorn and wearing glittery heels having golgappe with chopped onion pieces and in one case I heard from my father of one of his colleague who too diksha left his home and was back home after 3 years complaining ki khane ko nahi milta ese toh mein maarjaunga . For once I can ignore the latter as an exceptional case but the former one was a shock too see people couldn't stop staring at them.

Does she understand what a monk is? If her family throws this lavish party then I'm not sure they understand what religious life is about.
Edit : I have learned so much since this comment. I had never heard of this religion before. So, I have done some reading & it's fascinating. I admire anyone who helps mankind. We need all the help we can get😂

Even if somebody manages to minimise the number of sins they do in 1 life by taking Diksha, they will still have to come back to settle the karma of their previous lifetimes.
Monks basically do nothing and say nothing just so that nobody suffers, faces a loss or even the slightest of discomfort because of them.
This way they will not have to take a rebirth to suffer for such actions.
My question in this case is, what about the karma of your previous birth?
Since you do not start a new account in every life, it is impossible to erase so much data that we create in the form of karma.

I think what I wanna say is more than this how about do something good for other beings and creatures .helping the helpless ,giving the needy if you can do all these then you are on the right path need not do all this and for what. She could have used her education to help soo many others but alas she chose this path .im not saying its wrong but this is not right never has a god asked anyone to leave the life and your family at this young age .there are stages in humans life right now hers was to get education or have family if she doesnt want could have dedicated her life helping others .the this phase the spirituality. After that death takes us with it.
