I was there last year, and I went on that slide with 3 other people. It was definitely worth the giant wait line and it was so much fun even tho I was terrified lmao. We all screamed so loud!!
I rode that last year as a child (11) and yes I’m a child still, get over it, but this thing is pretty fantastic and I definitely recommend going to the Wilderness anyway, several rides, outdoor, indoor, cool candy shop, TWO ARCADES, hotel, two children indoor water parks, wave pool, bars, golfing, and go carts for kids. I don’t mean to advertise but Wyndham, a timeshare, supports the Wilderness so if y’all have a timeshare and are near Winsconsin, go here Restaurants nearby I recommend: Mexicali Rose (Mexican) and Moose Jaw (REALLY good pizza place) (There are restaurants inside like frozen yogurt and pizza places but really outside of it is better for food) Also, there are SEVERAL campgrounds nearby the place and I have been to a few, most have had their prices skyrocket but really it’s fine. I would say the best thing in the Winsconsin dells are their jet boat tours though, if you do it, prepare to get wet! there is a few (as far as I know, there is two) There is zip lining nearby. The wilderness also has its own but let’s be honest the other zip lines are better. Also, about the Mexicali Rose place, it has a great view of a cool lake thingy where you can actually see some people on (not jet) boat tours! If you really wanna do as much as possible here, I would recommend staying for 2 full days to 7. Planning schedule idea: First day: Arcades, good restaurant, chill, that’s it Second day: Mini golfing, jet boat 3-7: whatever else you want
I love that water slide it’s Sokol fun but they did change it up before it was two side that you would go back and forth and we almost tipped doing that but the funnel was pretty fun too 😊

When I went to Wisconsin Dells I went on that same slide twice and in the tube it hurt because it like the tube wall is hitting the float and then it hurts your back but overall it was fun. Will try again

It’s like the tornado at Great wolf lodge in Texas me and friend looovvvveeee that ride it’s the exact same thing as this one where it’s dark then you drop into the funnel if you live in grapevine Texas this is the hotel/water park to go to there’s more details but this is the water park you can stay at that I recommend!!! Remember it’s in Grapevine Texas if there is a red and yellow funnel sticking out that’s how you know you reached Great wolf lodge. P.S sorry for making this comment so long 😅😨
I have 2 stories about this type of slide. (Will have TL:DRs) #1. When me and some friends were younger we went to great wolf lodge for a birthday (I cant remember if it was mine or one of theirs). Part way through the day we decided to go to the water part. We ended up playing for a while when I realised that I hadnt seen one of the friends for a while, so I went to go look for them. A little bit of looking later and they were sitting with their parents next to the funnel slide. Turns out they had fallen off of the raft and into the slide. They weren't super hurt, but I imagine that had to be a little scary. (TL:DR - Friend fell off raft in the funnel slide) #2. When me and the same friends were younger (a little older than the last story) we went to a water park or something and were doing all the slides, when we decided to do the funnel slide that they had at that park. After waiting in the line for however long, it was our turn to go down. On the funnel we had 3 kids, probably 8-9 years old (maybe a bit older, this is important. The raft ended up getting stuck near the top of the slide where it drops you into the actual funnel part. We ended up having someone else slide down into us so we could get unstuck. (TL:DR - me and 2 other kids get stuck near the drop part of the funnel slide)
I went on one similar. The one at the great wolf lodge in Wisconsin. I went on it twice. I am 15, but look way younger. I went facing backwards on the raft. The boy behind us called me a daredevil. It was awesome
I road something similar to this and got knocked out of the raft. I thought I was in the funnel but I was at the end and screaming bloody murder help with water in my eyes. Lol😂😂😂😂😅
I went on this waterside before, and it was so scary for me that I refused to ride it again however I do recommend riding it atleast once in your life that is if you're ok with a long line wait.
