I have the pl mini 2 set up with y’all holster gotta say it’s an awesome combination. Comfortable and I never feel like my gun is gonna fall out. Very good fit all around. Great video.
Situational awareness training and analyzing each shot. There's a lot to focus on when shooting handguns and one little lapse in absolute focus throws off your shot by inches. You get more out of each round by analyzing each shot.
I have a full size pistol and I'm looking to get a light. So far, I really like how bright and focused the Baldr Pro is compared to the mini. Is there a noticeable weight difference between the 2?
Make a holster for the PSA Dagger, please. PL Mini capable too. :) (Maybe modify the G19 one that you have) These are both great lights, but I like the PL Mini Valkryie for a compact or subcompact gun, on a nightstand. (I'm rarely out at night these days) To me It puts out plenty of light to identify the threat in the dark bedroom or home at 600 lumens. The Baldor has much more focused lumens but a lot more bulk and length for everyday carry. I think its better suited for a full size pistol. Maybe it would help with muzzle flip on a compact if that is needed. I personally cant justify putting over 4oz onto a compact 22oz pistol, plus the xtra length past the muzzle and mass over the PL mini. Then to try to carry it concealed, it adds a lot to the bottom of the holster too. If I was outside at night more, I would opt for the larger Baldor light and full size pistol. I doubt it would be a concealed carry pistol tho. Just my opinion, we all have em.
Just got my own first gun , Glock 19 gen 5 . My o light baldr rl just came in. It’s amazing ! I wanted the rl cuz I wanted a red laser . I was going to get a streamlight but it was way more, or the olight that is flush with the 19 but since it’s a range and home defense gun I figured might as well get the bigger one . And if I want to carry in the future just take it off in 1 second . Anyone thinking of getting the baldr don’t worry it’s awesome !
Very informative comparison review. I have the G19X, with a desert tan BALDR Pro, as well. Great home defense setup, especially with the ability to run the BALDR Pro at 300 lumens, for inside use. I bet target acquisition is quicker with the laser/light, than it is with the Dot, but it only has a limited window of accuracy, because of the parallax issue with the laser being so far below the barrel. ie the bullet progressively being lower than the laser, with increase in distance to target, beyond sited range. But the Dot is much more accurate, throughout all ranges. But you can''t beat the identification, and acquisition speed, of the laser/light combo, for short distance, home defense situations. And the BALDR Pro is the least expensive green laser/light combo available, by far.
And what do you mean "Like is this his first time shooting a glock? As opposed to other semi auto plastic frame striker fired modern handguns? Are glocks all you know or are you just low key examining the fact they have awful ergonomics? He actually handles the weapon assertively and properly. Aggressive forward almost vogel- esque grip. Even utilizes the olight itself for thumb support to prevent excessive muzzle flip which not many people take advantage of for whatever reason. He's also constantly aware of his surroundings which is majorly under rated all while leaning into the weapon with high elbows. I'm sure proper handling of a firearm does seem like a foreign concept to a millennial kid but to us 30+ year Olds, it's something to be appreciated.
Olight has a "many mini" lights. PL-Mini Valkyrie (now discontinued by Olight), PL-Mini 2, Baldr Mini, and the Baldr S which is not technically a "mini" but similar in size. Once you know which one, you can check out our holster finder at werkz.com/ and see if we have an offering for you. Note that we discontinued holsters for the original PL-Mini Valkyrie.
How wild do you think a M&P 2.0 sub compact would look with the baldr pro? I want to have the convenience of the laser light combo but I don't want to sacrifice too much conceallablity
@@almightysanchez4565 Makes sense to me. We have a lot of folks running the CZ. Unfortunately, we only make custom holsters for it, and those are currently on hold...
We're working on adding those to our holster lineup! They simply are not perfected yet, but we hope to have a few options for S&W carriers in the upcoming year.

The hand movements are funny and the way he slap the gun on the back is weird and the thumbs are funny to but I have to said I like the comparación
you smack the back to make sure the slide didn’t stick slightly back causing it to not fire
I have about 8 Olight weapon lights they're great lights
Baldr mini or pl2 mini?? Pick 1

Thank you for a good review. What kind of holster a G17 with optic/taclight/laser (baldr?) will it fit on? Side carry? Thanks.

I would like to see a torture test that really shows how much the laser in these flashlights can take.
Does the baldr pro sit flush on a g17?
It sits out a little further than the end of the G17 muzzle. It sits back a little from the end of the G34.
What dot sight do you use?

I‘m looking for a Duty Holster/OWB for my Glock 19x and Olight Baldr Pro, have you found one because I havent!
The way he shoots the gun is so funny, like is this his first time shooting a Glock 😂
Ikr. You gotta hold it sideways and lean way back like you're doing the limbo He obviously hasn't been watching the latest wave of shorts.

Be aware that if there isn't enough rail, the Baldr Pro/RL will not engage the rail. :)
