I hope the developers will continue to upgrade the AI soon. The current AI is fun but has some problems like they are too focused on Major ant or neglect building the nest.

Empires of the Undergrowth
Empires of the Undergrowth is a fast-paced ant colony strategy game. Underground you excavate your nest, construct tunnels and chambers to store resources and raise your brood, then venture above ground. Here, your ants will claim territory, gather resources and overwhelm fearsome foes.

So you go to free play and select counter part and then select the map and then pit the insects you want to pit and you did it😊

@@MegaChonkerI mean by the brood tile? How is that a thing? I thought army ants are just npcs aka enemies…
You can play as them too. You need to complete the extra stage called The Other foot to unlock the counterpart colony, then you can play with them.
