The Parliament gov reform is a great combo with Increased Levies. You'd have gotten 50 percent crownland with a click, but of course that would take rushing Tier 6 reforms.
Tbh the strategy where u do merc and influence ideas is superior cause you fully annex all of Germany and release them as client states with merc and inf policy, it allows you to get hegemony before 1500, no overextension and core cost, care to try doing byzantium next and trying to see how much you can abuse the hell out of the client states they got at tier 1 reform?
@@Theplaymaker57I believe the student made a video on that merc influence strategy, very interesting, very strong opener. The key aspect of it, beyond being able to conquer all of Germany at once, is that client states will have the culture of the state in which they are created, so if you create a client state for each culture, or at least most of them, you can satisfy the requirement to have 50 provinces having the same culture as their owner
If anything I would enjoy a Napoleon larp where you took all the land he did, but I know there isn’t a formable to give you those sick Rome clicks on RUclips :/
I don’t understand the desire to spend so much admin to avoid the Dutch revolt, it’s not a particularly difficult disaster to beat as long as you have a bit of spare manpower and are willing to state the lowlands so they don’t get independence via high autonomy. It’s great land to full state anyway so that’s usually what I do
I'm not sure what you are referring to, so I can't comment on it really. It also not a contest, nor is getting the mil hegemony the point of the video.
Look, if you sole goal is to get MIL hegemony asap, then shure TheStudents cheese is more effective, but that is only in a vacuum where the only thing you are going for is MIL hegemony. With his tactic, you would have to spend mana on certain ideas that you probably don't want, and then you would have to still integrate the subjects later so you are still using the diplo and time that you would have used to culture convert. You do save up some admin mana and get the Hegemony a bit faster, but you end up with 2 ideas that are not that amazing for the situation as France for a while and most of that admin could have been saved up by just using administrative ideas anyway.
I actually don’t particularly want to see a Rome formation, but I would love to watch another part. You make the game so interesting. :)
Reform into China or Japan :^)
"6k subs by the end of the year" congrats on getting more than triple that!
Who doesn't love an early Mil Hegemon... I have to rate pdx there, if you have 1k troops, no tech requirements etc etc you can go ahead and claim it!

Interesting, not sure mil hege is worth having to go influ + merc Ideas though. 🤣

Its the not willing to full state it, I don't have the gov capacity to do that
Can that mission be completed by revoking the privilegia?
I get your not a spreadsheet guy, but the culture changing thing can sort them from cheapest to most expensive. why you tapping the map?
I may have forgot you can sort that way
I've told you last time TheStudent got MIL hegemony 1499 lol. so your tactics are not that optimal

You’re a strange individual
