This guy , who's name slips me, went to Africa and recorded musicians and they're on Piranha Records. There are many videos of Ronnie and others . Search Botswanna or Ronnie or Piranha Records. Botswana's a sane, friendly place; I first heard about it from the Mma Ramotswe books by author Alexexander McCall Smith. Not perfect (where is?), but the very best of Africa.
