Oh hi teacher, I love your reactions to our Morissette. You should have seen your face, you were awed by the vastness of her voice. Ladies and Gentlemen, what you have just witnessed based by the looks from her faces, she's having a series of what you called an "EARGASM". Yeah, this is what usually happens to uhmm.. I don't know.. to Everyone everytime they listens to our "Asia's Phoenix", "The Slay Queen", "The Philippines' Pride" and our one and only Morissette Amon. What happened is you don't just listen to her, you experience and live Morissette Amon. Its as if you're sitting down, listening to her while she sings and then unexpectedly Boom💣 right in the face. You didn't see it coming and all of a sudden, she rocks your world upside down over and over. She hits you at the back of your soul. She lefts you stranded with an overwhelmed of speechless emotions. Be careful though once you've entered into her world there is no turning back. You'd be addictive to her, mesmerize by her, enchanted by her, lost by her. The irony is in the end there is no end because you'll end up with wanting more and more of her and you can't just never get enough.

Humility does not mean no confidence in what she can do, she is supremely confident. That is where true humility comes from from confidence that you know what you can do and you don't need to shove it in anybodies face. You can let someone else have their shine too, it doesn't alter who you are or what you can do. She is all of that going on and it is settled, she is the best Mori she can be at any given time and that is all that is required, her best.
And look at the joy she is singing with, she is truly doing what she was born to do. She in not showing off either, well maybe a little, she is just singing and having fun, and is taking us with her. And that response you are having, I have every time she sings. You can imagine her finishing this and then saying to every body there, "let's go to Mickey D's", and all of them piling out to go laughing and joking and continuing the fun. But make no mistake this young lady works as hard as she plays. She does not take any of this for granted. She knows she has been given tremendous gifts, and she honors those gifts by working at giving them full voice.
So I am glad she made you cry because you should be moved by what she is doing. She also has a similar format for an acapella version of 'Rise Up', she will pull the same sort of amazement out of you. Thank you so much for your reaction.

I saw the previous video, I don’t know much about music but I think some fans are so used to just mediocre reaction vids that do not delve into the technical parts of it. For me it is refreshing to hear critics from a knowledgeable person.

You’re a great reactor. Morissette is a generational talent imo. Plus add to the fact she seems like such a genuinely kind person. I recommend listening to her sing Halo with her playing guitar in an open field. It’s a raw, live performance that showcases so much about Mori. Akin Ka Na Lang on the WishBus is an older song but it an original of hers and certainly must watch viewing. Keep up the great work

The thing that Morissette differ from most great and extremely popular singers in the world is that she honed her craft without professional voice teacher intervention, unlike the likes of dimash who since childhood almost live in music school. by the way i'm not degrading those who got famous coz of voice teacher interference, they can afford it anyway and its for their own good.... you have such a wonderful reaction. Oh my, sorry you have to put up with the negative comments. Dont mind them, theyre not vocal teachers :) i love morissette and im very interested in what you have to say as it also helps me see what needs to be done in terms of technique and the nuances that you spot. You help people like me who loves singing.. not like other vocal teachers who are all praise, i dont learn anything from then.

Speaking of other artists...am not sure if you've listened to Katrina Velarde with Budakhel's "One Sweet Day" plus "Rainbow" by Michael Pangilinan (one of the singers from Budakhel).These are definitely worth listening too; am looking forward to your reactions, not just to these but to others.

We don't all react to things exactly the same on anything. Some similarities & differences is to be expected and okay. Loved your reaction by all means: be yourself! You don't need anyone's approval if you're sincere.
I did shred tears but that's what it with Mori, she bring forth the message of her piece along with the divergent textures of her voice. Hope you can react to her cover with BEGIN, a message everybody can relate to regardless of race. You may consider, too, her cover on Barbara Streisands MEMORY and RISE UP, the Acapella version.

If you haven't done so yet, you should check out the acapella version of "Rise Up" that Morissette did with 3rd Avenue. Adonis Tabanda sings bass and percussion, and I think he also did the arrangement of the song. That's the same guy who plays bass guitar and sings backup vocals in this song here.

Well, the only place I have seen Rachel criticized it is the last Morissette video where she sang "defying gravity". We felt that she was nitpicking, and I still think she was. That is not "hate", and I didn't see anyone say anything out of bounds. Jimmy and Steffi are making assumptions about a situation they did not see, clearly. That's not right. It is not morissette "haters" that were angry because it was morissette fans!
Pinapakilala pa lang natin si Mori sa main music market sa buong mundo. At ang nag propromote sa kanya ngayon ay mga foreign reactors na di kaya i-promote ng mga pinoy reactors. Kaya lets be openminded. Wag masyadong protective kay lodi to the point na ina away natin pag may nag criticize.
