- Corporate America seems to be taking a closer look at racial inequality in the workplace, and many companies are rolling out commitments to do better. Eddie Brown, the founder and CEO of Brown Capital Management, wrote an op-ed about his experiences, and he joined CBSN to discuss.
Just by looking at this SBA loan and how they distribute the funding we will see how racist it is.
Scratch all this.... American Descendants of Slavery need Reparations
@ala ska no you owe freeloader
Gimme gimme gimme.... It's kinda catchy. Might make some good hip-hop lyrics...
@@Jianju69 You sound super salty. Who hurt your feelings? Did a “hip hoper”,more qualified than you, get the job you wanted? Boo hoo 😂
Ya, because that is easier than Work.
Yeah, I haven't been able to get an IT job ever since I got my degree. The only time I did was a contract position and I don't think they knew I was black...They hired me over the phone...besides that no luck...plus I live in Texas and positions like that they want to keep everyone nonblack and if black they might be immigrant black...not American black like myself.
@Pup Pup Man Just like I said they don't mind having black Immigrants....just not American black like myself...you are just as racist as whites I can already tell.
@@hamburger1431 what? That doesn’t even make sense. He’s jst pointing out the truth 🙄
I have a Economics degree and the same thing 🤦🏾♂️
Bull. If you're a black man with a degree and tech skills to match, large tech companies are clamoring for you.
I am black no degree and IT jobs claim to hiring managers that I am the only qualified candidate. Today, you must have certs and a great resume. I put out one resume and get interviews 90 percent of the time. Now I am the highest paid tech.
How about we start being fair and hire people based on skill and not hired based on skin color.
It's almost as if it's extremely unfair when people with a certain skin tone get advantages over others. 🤔
@@samuelsprings7245 always has been, always will be.
@@kittylvoe456 Yeah, that’s what black people have been arguing for since slavery. What are you talking about?
Companies don't give a damn what you look like. They want to make money. This is just BS.
Lol we’ve been asking for that. Hiring just based on skill wouldn’t fit a racist managers agenda
So she was told to interrupt him, to attempt to frustrate him
It breaks my heart. I don’t know what else to say…. 😢😢
Please excuse my previous numbers related to discrimination against men
Women are 96,% of nurses
They will continue using every excuse in the book to avoid doing what's right.
How much longer do we wait ✋🏻 fairness?
They'll import others from afar before they extend a seat at the table to us.
I think it's time for us to do our own thing. 😶
First of all just because a person is running a company doesn’t mean anything especially when the black and to her to say that he was winning that’s stupid to say until the other guy that was asking him questions about we got a black president. What does that mean?
According to this CEO we should be more white basketball players than we have now.
and more black basketball club owners
Sports are the only fair arena for competition because it’s physiological. Racism manifests itself in the corporate sector because society has never distributed education, capital, or economic opportunity evenly. Horrible analogy.
@@NatTurner328 Well said!
*NBA is racist* Has 85% Black millionaire and multimillionaire players!
So every black person is supposed to bounce a ball....and only some many get picked foh crook
But who is management and the owners? Any of color? NBA players are rich but are bottom tier. Wealthy is the manager / owner who writes alllll the checks for those mortally black players.
@@LBright4444 There are only around 300 NBA players, Weak argument by the NPC. This discussion is about us overall.
