Great video your car sounds great what exhaust did you fit ?
Hi - thanks for your comment - even if I say so myself, I have to agree - it does sound pretty good. It also passes sound checks at the Bedford Autodrome trackdays, and isn't 'borderline' so ought to be OK anywhere.
For whatever reason, I don't have a record of the exhaust I bought. I usually keep e-mails, invoices etc... but for some reason I don't have anything for this one. However - I am 99% certain that it was this.... www.mgfntfbitz.co.uk/shop/supersport-stainless-exhaust-mgf-mk2-mg-tf-mid-volume/ .... but can't 100% guarantee it. If I do find any documentation I'll update you. Cheers! (Scotty)
@@DoubleDuckGarage thanks mate
I think you have the super spots I have the standard exhaust s/s but after hearing yours I am sold 👍
I like your grinder with 3 wheels on it,
did you fit the third wheel on your grinder? if you did I would love to know how you went about fitting the third wheel as I would love to do this to mine too, keep up the videos they are very enjoyable viewing
Very impressed you saved the cat. I would like to fit a ss exhaust to my mg. However by the time I get the cat and old silencer separated the cat flange will be like yours. What type of steel and what thickness did you use for the new flange please?
@@DoubleDuckGarage Thanks for your reply. My cat flange is a bit ropey. Just got to get it all apart and off the car.
Your video has been so helpful to me. I have just got the cat to down pipe nuts off. They took a while.
Why did you remove the lambda sensor from the cat before welding the new flange on? I am going to make a flange but planned to leave the 02 in place and pack the pipe.
I forget how well behaved i can be :)
