I wouldn't have kept the window frame black. the gray will pop nicely with more black accents. Think batmobile - mix flat and glossy black in places to make the surfaces more visually complex.
Missed your spyder updates. Glad you went with the ducktail spoiler. I think you should go k24 and k20a2 heads etc you'll have 2.5ltr and more options for upgrading. Thumbs up and left a like 😁

I’ve got celica gts seats in my spyder and love them! Super comfortable and 6 hour drives are no problem, they also look really nice in the car- very oem.

A Bit of overspray lol Your a believer in Minimum Masking but must love cleaning Over Spray off Cpl Sheets of NewsPaper would have Saved the Toil of Cleaning Any in the Wing n Door Corners or Interior ?
Lee…if you haven’t got the overspray off yet there’s a few options…using a blade is good…also you can clay it off or if it’s really stubborn you can use some thinners on a scotch pad 👍🏼

@@SpyderLEE I made the mistake of not masking enough when I did a smart repair on my windscreen surround…it’s the clear coat overspray…it goes everywhere 😞
I was very concerned about that as soon as I saw that most of the car wasn’t masked off, I also found out that the car doesn’t want to sit outside for about 24 hours afterwards which I’m glad to see that you eventually put it back in the garage.
It’s a catch can on the crank breather line. Between the cam cover outlet and the intake. High mileage engine so got more oil going back through the intake than I’d like.
Nice, just in the process of fitting a 1.8t 20v to mine. Can't wait until it's done and back on the road.

@@SpyderLEE 2zz is cheap but k24a2 would be cheaper in the long run. Just my opinion

S2000 seats look good in the MR2

Celica seats are an awesome upgrade over stock Mr2 spyder seats. They sit a 1 or so lower when installed. Just put mine in last week

I have specialist insurance that covers any modification. To be honest I think colour swaps is the least of their concern lol.
