If i remember correctly Jets defense took some bad penalties in the game, Bengals missed a couple easy FG's, it was an all around kinda ugly game.

Marvin Lewis’ speeches give me chills. He really does a great job leading a room full of adult athletes. Especially when compared against Rex Ryan and the ‘10 Hard Knocks. He would’ve been able to win something too if the owner wasn’t so committed to discount options.
Discount options, and paying for homegrown talent at times that dont deserve it. They often save money, but sometimes its in the more bizzare of ways. When they needed players to put them over the top, they wouldn't go get them. It's very frustrating to watch the Bengals as an outsider, because when I grew up they went from the bungles of everything they could do they would do wrong, to respectable, competitive lunch pail under Marvin, to now I cant really tell you their identity. They never seem too far away from 7-9 even at their worst, but you don't trust them enough to thumb them in for a secured playoff birth even when they are really good. It's hard to feel passionate for or against them.

It would not surprise me to see the team be a better overall team, offensive line especially, and bow out 1st round in the playoffs next year. Burrows swagger definitely helped but having a transcendent year from your rookie top peak definitely helps at well regarding Chase. Their secondary played bend dont break when it mattered. Hard to expect that again especially with SB hangover but who knows? They're young enough. The AFC got a lot better though quickly.
