In bramacharya PPL were to beg for food.. This is bit like sharing in the army.. This habit was most customised for a Promising Brahman.. who will see Equality in all status & MOST IMPORTANT.. Loose fear of going POOR or fall into Bad Living conditions.. while Persuing & standing for Dharma.... WHICH simply qualifies for true Patriots..!!.

There is no point in sending children to regular schools. If the speaker maybe good enough to guide us on how we can home-school our children based on the traditional model it would be a great service. We cannot hope for these changes to happen through the Government and RTE.
Why do we say Hindi/Sanskrit words in an English like pronunciation? "Vidyarambh" becomes "Vidyarambha", "Upanayan" becomes "Upanayana" & so on...This is irritating..

The Brahmi script is one of the oldest - but what was the state of the common man in India, just a few hundred years ago - an uneducated peasant - totally at the mercy of the landlords. Thanks to the missionaries who built schools and made education accessible to the common man and today India is a global leader in computer software - If these foundational schools and colleges built by the white man were not around - what would be India's standing in the world today ?
