Just as a small note, your concrete elevator/recycler can be much faster and simpler if you use float alignment. I made a video about this about a month ago, and also used it in my latest connect 4 design.

This whole concept scratches my brain just right. The parallel between all the components necessary and the coresponding guitar hero mechanics could not be more perfect.
I would have used the obscure villager mechanic to make a cool secret hidden door that only opens when you hold an obscure item
but i guess making guitar hero in Minecraft is also cool if you're a masochist

this would probably be a pain to implement with the powder restocking system, but i think it would be more visually appealing if slime block pistons were timed to knock the powder out of the way whenever you successfully land a note. adds more visual feedback that way maybe? or maybe instead itd just feel like its lagging behind your input

as a hold note you could use emeralds with or without wandering traders since the villagers are just showing you what they offer and will cycle through the items they have for trade (only with emeralds though because its common with all villager trades), the problem being that they would all go at once but if you could solve that somehow it could work

Minecraft mini game: Victim VS Suspects
There are two platforms. One with 2+ suspects and one with a victim. Everyone except for the victim is under a trapdoor with some gravel on top. One of the suspects can shoot the victim. Once they shoot they get a point. The victim then guesses based on the knock back of the arrow who shot him. He will pull a lever that corresponds to the suspect he guessed shot him. If the suspect he guessed didn't shoot him, the gravel stays. If the suspect he guessed did shoot him, the gravel releases on him, killing him. He becomes the next victim if he gets caught and loses the point he got when he shot. If the person doesn't get caught they keep their point and the victim stays for another round. First person to 10 points wins. Anyone can shoot the victim any round.

Using the cool music disc save and load system, you could probably allow for some really cool file saving and loading in your aquastone iron stand computer! But you need sleep so ignore me
You could make a minigame where you are on a round ice platform and you have to collect items that fall from the ceiling from a boat, the platform has holes and people can fall from there or around the edges. I think it would be quite fun

I'm just glad you've finally seen the Quasi-Connectivity light.
You could just put something on 1 of the buttons you're not using so it switches back to that after you play a note, but it might not work 100% of the time.
