My furbaby was my child. I cried with you 😭 The pain doesn't go away, you just learn to live with it. The comfort is knowing they are no longer in pain or sick, they are at peace. I don't know if you know the song, The Dance by Garth Brooks. If not, you should listen to it. The message is so profound. We could have missed the pain, but we would have had to miss the Dance!! We would have had to miss all the memories with our furbabies, all the things they taught us, all the snuggles and kisses. We wouldn't have wanted to miss that for the world! So our grief is the price for loving them and that is ok.....because we could have missed the pain ,but we would have had to miss the dance😉🙏❤
