Its a monster slayer, not a dragon slayer dumbass. Dragons in the witcher they are powerfull creatures and rarely attack humans and other live creatures
I love to read every single comments of the soundtracks which keeps ringing in my head randomly and suddenly I felt that I have to check this on RUclips
Lord Swan, you and your men should follow me. We must capture or otherwise deal with Aryan LaValette in order to break the defenders moral. Geralt, gentlemen follow me! for the glory!
It reminds me a lot of the soundtrack for the dragon age origins trailers. Epic orchestra combined with hard rock. Glad to see that this game goes all the way on that aspect
Fighting the draug was such an awesome thing indeed that my only regret was to see him die. The background, music, and pure awe emanating from this huge stentor-voiced fella litterally drove me through the scene; I guess I was uncounscious, in a way.
No problem, I've got this. Robust Silver Sword drawn, Necrophage oil used on said sword, Grapeshot and Samum bombs at the ready, daggers at the ready, Talgar Winter Traps placed early on, Swallow and Rook Potions drank early on. It's all in the preparations, my fellow Witcher. NOW LET'S KICK SOME SERIOUS MONSTER ASS!
Dragon was easy but long, just remember that you only need to strike 3 times light attack when you have the chance, try attacking the 4th time and you will surely fail.
Just got this game without playing the previous one, all I gotta say is this game is f*cking epic and pretty challegning on normal if you don't know what you're doing.
The first one was in flotsam when you attack the guards I guess and the last one occurred when you're fighting at night, in a jungle during the night or at the summit where the witches gathers
my problem with this game is that it's too different from the first game. and yes, people say that people on the itnernet hate change, it's true, I loved the first game, but they change loads in the combat in the second game. Though it's way better to be able to know when you're gonna parry/ dodge etc, it's just not as cool as the first game, I think. I'm totally in love in the story though! really really good! and to the main event: really good music!
He is supposed to have been injured at a time, leaving him open in some of his maneuvers, as commented on in the first witcher game. I know what you mean though, they did a fine job on the attack animations but the recovery animations can seem slow in comparison.
They don't get old at the same speed as humans. IIRC it was said in the first book or the second. We just know that Geralt was already an accomplished witcher when Kaer Morhan was attacked around 60 years before the saga.
I think that W2 is better that the first part, in terms of game system. Now fights are actually difficult and exciting. The plot is slightly better too, but it's just me
I see why; during act 1 you're fighting mainly outside city (in pretty much wilderness), in act 2 I think it's similar (didn't play Iorveth's path yet) and Loc Muinne is a bit of a ruin, especially at the end of the act
Pablo Mora Maybe it had a more gritty real vibe, possibly due to the tone and atmosphere. I haven't played W2 in years, but i can still recall some things. The witcher 3, while still having that dark tone and desolation it had this odd upbeat feeling and tone (especially with the usually cheerful good-natured ciri present or talked about throughout) that seemed very different from the second installment. It could simply be the case that you prefer one games story, gameplay, style, more than the other. All three witcher games seem drastically different in areas throughout each installment.
Witcher 2 got faster to the point. I think that's a big plus. Also many people don't like this total open world with tons of loot. I personally find the concept from Witcher 1/2 refreshing where you travel to limited locations that are in themselves very immersive.
Theres a difference between saying something and asking something. I read your previous posts and I did not see you state that this game was from eastern Europe. You only asked if it was developed in that area. :P
The virgin "Training Ciri At Kaer Morhen" opening sequence vs. The Chad "Siege Of La Valette Castle" opening sequence
Witcher 2 clears 3 in terms of sheer badassery, but then again i think 3 being the way it is contributed to it being such a massive hit
"Witcher, how do you fight something like that?"
"You don't, you run!"
"Some professional you are."

Много игр переиграл, но эта музыка в бою из ведьмака 2 запала в душу
pure awesomeness. I was on concert last week (fmf music in cracow: game soundtracks), I heard The Witcher 2 music live...damn good

just add "Scent of Battle"and "The Wild Hunt"" and you've got one of the best battle themes ever created ;]
Spectacular! Never heard anything like this! I'm hooked like a fish!
Witcher 3 Wild Hunt music was Awesome, but... i feel the combat music lacked the power of Witcher 2 OST.
Have you heard the song "Steel for Humans"?
i did, its awesome, but not that powerful as this one, for me.
Does the first song play any other time in the game other than the prologue? It's the best battle music ever.
yep! its true!
for the most parts, yes, but in some instance like crookback bog combat theme I think Witcher 3 did far better than 2
Best battle music
Really good music. It also really suits fighting alongside the king.
Fighting the draug was such an awesome thing indeed that my only regret was to see him die. The background, music, and pure awe emanating from this huge stentor-voiced fella litterally drove me through the scene; I guess I was uncounscious, in a way.

Anybody know the 'slow time down' cheat in Mount and Blade?
Mark my words, this music is made form-fittingly for such moments.
Not suprising that like it's predecessor The Witcher 2 has an excellent sound track.

But doing a shaolin workout with this, makes you twice as badass
I listened to this music during the math exam.
Once you get used to using your signs though it gets a lot more manageable, but still pretty hard at times..
Wow, I came here for the part I here in game 0:00-1:28 but the whole thing is spectacular, especially starting at 2:38
Just beat the first game..loving the second. If you haven't tried the first its a lot like Dragon age fight wise.
So, I'm just playing a mod for Mount and Blade: Warband called Floris. And then I hear this music. I just had to come and listen to it.
Fuck!

The part of 0.43 somehow reminds me of souls ost

Does any one else find Garelt's movement kind of clunky?
He is supposed to have been injured at a time, leaving him open in some of his maneuvers, as commented on in the first witcher game. I know what you mean though, they did a fine job on the attack animations but the recovery animations can seem slow in comparison.
Regnery Cruz IIRC, he is more than sixty, since he was already a witcher 60 years ago
The man never gets old.
Really? I though it was like 40 or so. neat, do witchers live longer then humans?
John Taylor Probably, but nobody knows, since no witcher has ever died of old age.
They don't get old at the same speed as humans. IIRC it was said in the first book or the second.
We just know that Geralt was already an accomplished witcher when Kaer Morhan was attacked around 60 years before the saga.

I somehow feel Witcher 2 is better than Witcher 3, although I don't exactly know why :/
Pablo Mora Maybe it had a more gritty real vibe, possibly due to the tone and atmosphere. I haven't played W2 in years, but i can still recall some things.
