  • Clean girl aesthetic, quiet luxury, preppy looks… Almost all the trends that fall under the umbrella of luxury minimalism are about to be forgotten. I’m telling you, those days are over my friends. Am I being too dramatic here? I guess I am. After all, it’s not the end of the world. But hear me out. Maximalism and loud luxury is about to return, probably stronger than ever. Today, I’m here to explain why the tables will turn. I also will be talking about what kinds of products we might see trending in 2024. So if you’re ready, let’s dive in.
    What do you think about the return of maximalism? I would also love to hear more about your personal styles. Are you a quiet luxury or loud luxury person? Do you think quiet luxury is dead? Let me know in the comments below.

    At the end of the day, you have to dress for you. If people learned to cultivate some style and sense of self, then these things wouldn't matter. If your style reflects who you really are, then all these trends and aesthetics wouldn't matter. Loud and quiet luxury never went anywhere (and they're not going to). It's just that people incessantly talk about them lately.

    It’s always been minimal style for me, but each to their own 🙏🥰

    It would be fun to mix the two. I like the occasional animal print, gold rings, and red lip. At the same time, there isn’t anything more luxurious than simple high quality pieces.

    I live in a part of the country that is hot and humid over the summer. so that's when I get a little splashier with colors and prints. The rest of the year, I'm on the side of quiet luxury with a piece of statement or fun jewelry. I lived through the years when everyone had to have a designer's name emblazoned on every piece of clothing or accessory, and that trend got old quickly. The last thing I want to do is to look in my closet and have a severe case of buyer's remorse.

    Quiet luxury is good but doesn' t work for everyone. If you don't have the right figure looks like just an uniform for employees. Maximalism is loud but the options are big compared to the limits of quiet luxury.

    WTF! - I was literally meditating on how Luxury Maximalism will probably come back this year, during my daily walk around the Neighbourhood.
    I dress on the point that the winning gesture will be Lousy Luxury, as it wont be, despite Usher's subliminal allusions to the entry of Lousy Luxury at the Superbowl Half-time.

    Whatever the trends say, I will stick to my modest, me-made wardrobe of mostly rich browns, mustard yellows and khakis...for life! I spin and weave/knit wool (processed from raw fleece to the finished item) and linen, knit my own hosiery, make my own hats, make my own hand-welted leather shoes, leather bags etc. From top to toe, I can make anything I ever want and need.
    Secretly, I was hoping we will never see animal prints and loud, clashing colours again and that elegance will stay in for longer...but hey! It's a free world and if people want to look ridiculous, they absolutely can.

      It's the safest color option, but brands need to be more creative for sure!

    Regardless of style, logos are tacky. They ruin the look of the item. Luxury can be loud AF without having tacky logos plastered everywhere. Real luxury has NEVER been about the brand or logo but the actual style and quality of the item.

      Yeah, i guess the perception of luxury fashion has evolved in time :/

    • @LinnLinnok-fe5tq
      @LinnLinnok-fe5tq 5 месяцев назад

      @@perspectiveofme nah, logos have always been tacky. It’s how people who don’t know luxury try to pretend to be living in luxury. Because they are only about showing off and not actually having style. Luxury and style never have and never will be about flashing a bunch of stupid logos. Logos are always a dead giveaway that the person is low class. Wearing big logos is what an insecure person does to try to draw attention to themselves, and it only draws the attention of other low class people. One can be “loud” with luxury without being tacky.
