This hits different. His stoic expression makes this so him. Like we're seeing his inner monologue and he wishes he could express himself more, but he has to stay hidden, a secret, concealed. It makes my gut wrench and my heart ache and the only consolation is that I know it will get better.
I love that you always manage to find the perfect version of a song to pair with each character! This cover fits so well with Dan Heng, it has the same calm vibes. I'm also really impressed you managed to balance showing his clear emotions without making him overly expressive. It's probably something about the eyes.
This is the type of MMD that gets better every time you watch it, so since this is like... the twentieth time it is pretty fudging amazing rn.
