Hey Ayrun! A week or two ago I was testing out Iron Will volumes on certain survivors, and surprisingly Ada was pretty much 100% silent without needing No Mither. It’s essentially the same thing as old Iron Will, and you should try it!
I was thinking that too, I run Iron Will + Dead Hard on Ada and it works really well. Especially when you use it to stealth for a flashlight/pallet save

Can we talk about the Laurie in the last Ghostface match that saw it was a 2v1 with the person running the killer with no mither and didn't even consider giving up on gens with 3 of them left? Real mvp

Ada is the only person I can realistically run Iron will on and get almost the same value. Other than that, they should've never massacred my boi 😭😭😥

Honestly the sound reduction is actually pretty good still the only reason more people don’t love it is because the exhaustion thing and survivors can’t live without exhaustion perks

@@Dazeja5 i’m not saying that killers use perks too lmao I’m saying that I don’t think perks should be able to do that much. I think the game should be genuinely balance in perks only provide small increases in certain areas. Plus even if I was saying that that’s not incorrect almost every survivor has an exhausting perk unless they were doing a tome challenge or achievement.
they should make iron will go down to 50% from 75% if your exhausted. instead of exhaustion denying the perk all together.
Honestly either set it back to -100% or take away the exhaustion part 😭 my boy Jake’s only good perk got taken out back and shot
Make it -100% volume with the exhaustion downside, I like that there are more downsides to being exhausted other then not being able to use perks that cause exhaustion

This downside doesn’t even make sense because off the record still has 100% silence and still is balanced and even though you don’t keep the endurance for doing conspicuous actions you still keep the 80 second 100% silence. So they pretty much just killed iron will just so people would never use it again. And iron will and no mither does not make you 100% silent either. You still can hear specs of the survivor. Any killer with good headphones can still detect you regardless of 75% iron will.
Dude those were so crazy games. The legion one and the last one against the ghost face was crazy and I’m glad it was 22 minutes long. We need more videos like this.
Honestly iron will could still give 100% reduction but just keep that it doesn’t work while exhausted
I don't understand why they didn't just do that, that'd make there be two main survivor metas, one with iron will and one with exhaustion perks. Would be much more interesting.

It should be 100% while unexhausted and 50% while exhausted
That’s the thing they could of made the 75% change or the exhaustion change but it didn’t need both. Honestly it didn’t need the nerf at all.

They could try to rework Iron Will to be 100% while not exhausted and 50% while exhausted to be like the old version and the current version combined. I think it'd be pretty cool to try on PTB

I feel like that giving it exhaustion or reducing the effectiveness was enough, doing both was Overkill. They can either make it a one-hundred-percent and become a possible stealth exhaustion perk, or they can take away the exhaustion effect and make it only a 75% at all times.

When you are injured, tap into your adrenaline bank to avoid damage.
Press the Active Ability button while running to trigger the Endurance Status Effect for 0.5 seconds.
Dead Hard then deactivates.

Petition to make Iron Will a toggable breath perk.
Toggle action to hold breathe for 3/5/7 seconds, no pain or breaths are heard during this time.
Cool down of 30 seconds
Makes you still able to have fun by duking the killer in certain moments, but it's not constant
You know what that sounds like a neat idea. I personally wouldn't run it though, cause I never remember to activate perks that aren't passive. My dumbass will only remember to use it like 10 seconds after I get downed lol

you uninjured your grunts and then reinjured yourself with no mither and it equalized you to being a healthy survivor that gets 1 hit and i think thats beautiful
Oddly enough, playing as spirit was easier for me when iron will was 100%. For some reason footsteps are much easier to hear for me, and sometimes the grunts get a little bit disorienting, like i would stop phasing so far away from the survivor i was chasing because the injured sounds are so loud.
The nerf was also unnecessary, it was a strong perk but not dead hard strong

@MultiSneakerLover very much so, I'll admit to that lmao. I consider myself a midrange survivor, I can loop for maybe 1-2 minutes in a good chase. But 30 seconds on average, a lot to learn but I am the best out of my friend group and I need to get better because I'm not where I need to be to get us all out consistently yet.
Ada Wong only needs the Iron Will perk. She doesn't make a sound while hurt. I've hid in bushes next to killers as Ada and the never found me.
Old Ironwill is basekit if not hurt...

Would the new perk "Made for this" not be somewhat better than Dead Hard? (Since you said it never activates)
With No Mither it would be a permanent 3% extra haste and it would give you endurance for 10 seconds after healing someone else.
PS: Been only playing for a week or so. So I'm genuinely curious what you think about this.
