Pennsylvania's own Mountain Folk Band entertains the "Skunkheads" at the 2014 Mountain Folk Acoustic Roots Fusion concert at Gring's Mill Amphitheater.
This is good music to drive by in the beautiful hills of Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Tennessee as well as Western North Carolina and Western Virginia.
Brings back memories. Environmental protest song in the 1970's against air pollution. "You don't have to look and you don't have to see, 'cause you can smell it in your own factory".
This song is totally about a dead skunk. Not about industrial pollution. The skunk, the cat and the dog, deserve recognition, not from you who bypassed the death of these creatures to push an agenda. I bet you drive a car, use washers and dryers, furnaces and AC.
I don't have any sense either so I have watched this video dozens of times. One question, what is the instrument that the musician on the right with a pink scarf hanging from his pocket called? Thanks.
@@McAmarisa Thank you so much for replying. I'm familiar with the mandolins but didn't know that it was used in country music as it is an Italian instrument. I shall do a research on this. Thanks again.
@@brucegwynn8509 Because I'm not a hick like you. I'm conversant with classical music and was surprised to know that hicks play the mandoling. Bye bye hick.
Great job on it - and the sound is really good, out there in the yard!
