- If you are planning to visit the northern Italian Alps, you can follow this route in the Eastern Trentino, visiting Pale di San Martino and Lagorai mountains, Brocon pass and Calaita lake.
This is an amazing route which will take you through the UNESCO world natural heritage of Dolomites.
A picturesque beauty, magnificent views, stunning peaks and wonderful walks for everyone: climbing skills are not necessary! A true paradise and an exciting adventure for all people who love the mountains!
With its typical culture and traditions, Trentino can offer an immersive experience in the heart of the Italian Alps, where the blue sky is the background of the Dolomites, a World Heritage Site.
These lands are full of paths that will let you discover lakes, alpine woods, picks and valleys, rivers and picturesque landscapes.
In this region, I recommend you visit Lake Calaita with a view of the Pale di San Martino mountains, the lagorai chain and its costa brunella lake, and the landscapes of the Brocon Pass.

Remember that Valsugana and the Lagorai chain are crossed by the network of SAT trails, marked by the characteristic red and white sign and indicating the right direction.
