This situation with Wendy being filmed like that reminds me a bit of the Dr. Phil interview with Shelley Duvall where she was clearly in a bad way mentally at the time and Dr. Phil seemed aware of that and willing to air it anyway. It made me feel upset for her in the same way.
I now think the Producers began to see the manager, publicist & guardian were all vultures. And they (the film crew & producers) decided to keep the footage and expose it all. It was deliberately shown not to violate Wendy, but to show what is really going on behind the scene. I think they didn't expect this initially. It was good to help the family in the guardianship case. It's up for review this year, rumor has it.

I’ve been a fan of Wendy Williams since her radio days. Just seeing these clips of this documentary are heartbreakingly disturbing. I have not been able to watch the documentary. It’s just too painful and triggering to watch. I’ve been concerned for her health ever since the news about her marriage coming to an end. I will keep her in my prayers. ❤

The family needs to definitely be a part of Wendy's life, but they are not equipped at this time to handle Wendy's medical and substance abuse issues. The problems are too severe.
Her story has already been told, and she is the one who told it. Now that she is on her last leg and is experiencing waves of understanding and waves of not understanding she is being exploited. I appreciate the documentary because it was real . I for one didn’t think about her feet in a bad way or her without The Wig-she’s a real person. But more importantly aside from all of the vanity the documentary spoke volumes to how she’s being handled by those around her totally unacceptable treatment towards her. Without seeing all that / the DOC, we would not really Know that she needs help. Now we know she’s not doing well at all and she needs help😢 We would not have known that there’s no food in her cabinets and refrigerator - we would not have known that Mr. Will is pretty aggressive with her we would not have seen her son and her nephew drinking wine right in front of her face, we would not have seen her son not even give her a hug or say I love you mom after not seeing her for a very long time when they were out on that Long time coming lunch date . This documentary was in my opinion Eye opening and Necessary, it told a lot about her mistreatment by that guy Will. Wendy's son has shown he is not responsible enough to handle the wealth of his mother due to his reckless spending. There definitely needs to be a guardian put in place to help Wendy. However if anything was evident in the documentary and that is the guardian put in place currently is not the right guardian. The family needs to definitely be a part of Wendy's life, but they are not equipped at this time to handle Wendy's medical and substance abuse issues. The problems are too severe.

Her story has already been told, and she is the one who told it. Now that she is on her last leg and is experiencing waves of understanding and waves of not understanding she is being exploited. Period!!! This documentary is a disgrace. Stop trying to make it seem like by her making this film she will help educate black people about mental health issues, drug abuse or alcohol addiction. Dementia patients need love and understanding not ridicule, persecution and drama. The guardian and who ever is over this documentary needs to get yo hand out her pockets and get yo head out of to own butts & let her rest in peace for the duration of her time on earth. “There’s something wrong” is the only thing she said that made sense. The family need to press charges for kid napping a dementia person. All need to sue everyone involved in not allowing her to have a relationship with her real blood and for stealing her funds. She is telling the world that her son is the greatest. Listen to Wendy because she said it with her own words about this bank robbery that is currently happening. To now hear that her guardian isn’t feeding her breakfast on time is too much. It’s like they are trying to kill her and have her money ties up in an injustice court system by which the gaurdian then can claim the cost of living took every dime that the bank refuse to give her while she is still alive.

I appreciate the documentary because it was real . I for one didn’t think about her feet in a bad way or her without The Wig-she’s a real person. But more importantly aside from all of the vanity the documentary spoke volumes to how she’s being handled by those around her totally unacceptable treatment towards her.
Without seeing all that / the DOC, we would not really Know that she needs help. Now we know she’s not doing well at all and she needs help😢 We would not have known that there’s no food in her cabinets and refrigerator - we would not have known that Mr. Will is pretty aggressive with her we would not have seen her son and her nephew drinking wine right in front of her face, we would not have seen her son not even give her a hug or say I love you mom after not seeing her for a very long time when they were out on that Long time coming lunch date . This documentary was in my opinion Eye opening and Necessary, it told a lot about her mistreatment by that guy Will. I’m glad he’s fired along with the rest of her staff- hopefully by the grace of God she’ll be placed in good hands As a result of the world watching this documentary.

I’m glad that we saw what was going on in her life always praying for Wendy to recover but like Wendy said there’s no cure for what’s going on with her and that breaks my heart. Also those people who were supposedly taking care of her have been fired and I am so glad about it because that guy name Will I believe he was a devil in disguise, I know he lift her with his pockets full I bet he stole lots of money from her that documentary was very much needed. Except THIS IS NOT WHO SHE REALLY IS. She showed her Feet on National TV plenty times; even talked about it on Dr. Oz. Forever talked about her Wigs every show. *Wendy is being Exploited and taken advantage of due to her illness* and mental State. *This documentary should Not have Aired.* No one should be *shown at the Lowest Point in their lives.* WENDY *has been in a Treatment Center 'Getting Help' this whole time 'before' this Documentary was released.* So it wouldn't take seeing her lowest point to get help. Wendy's state, not to this extent _(but declined),_ was already exposed these past 2yrs thru Footage & video clips by Paparazzi and reporters who she would briefly speak to.

Wendy had a three picture deal with Lifetime and why she was listed as executive producer. This was the third and final docu-series under that contract. Futhermore, it was the guardian who tried to stop the release of the documentary two days before it was scheduled to air.
It was to make it seem like she was looking out for Wendy. She should've done this weeks ahead of time.
