Wonderful concert. Great harmony. Good selection of songs too. Hamsanandi was excellent. Being a big fan of OVK, I enjoyed "Adum varai avar Adattum". Being Ravikiran's students, I expected more OVK kritis. Meera Bhajan was very melodious. RK's tillana was lively.
This is the golden age for carnatic music. We have seen it evolve into such wholesomeness that one finds no words to express our gratitude to the young ladies,, who are at the top of such hitherto unknown manodharma music, whether it is raga elaboration or Kriti rendition or swaraj kalpana. My wife Saroja and myself invoke the blessings of Sri Kanchi Mahaswami. Good luck.
