@ExitSign250, good system. Reminds of my apartment buildings system. We have an est IRC-3, and we actually have the original 7002-24s from between 1978 and 84
Their is a 4 wire version of the 7002t and the full model is 34T-24-WST24 and no skipping effects for this one. Feel free to search this model. Had to change model number because it was partially incorrect
I know. I definitely enjoyed having the house system for a years it was up. Hopefully one day when I’m in my own house I will install a house system and make house system tests again!
At our middle school we have wheelock MT's with the semi-frosted strobe and FCI MS-2's. Don't know about the panel but I assume it is Mircom because the annunciator in the office is a Mircom. The smokes are System-Sensor.
Crisp Cuts Landscaping I have the same alarms wheelock mt 24 vfr strobes(semi frosted) with Edwards 270A spo pulls. System sensor 2400 and 4000 smokes, and an est 3 panel.
Nice. But, eh, they'd still sound a lot better on filtered DC. FWR sucks. With the one in the hallway, do some adjustments on it. Turns the screws, hit it a few times. If there's a pitch tab, bend that a little bit. The 4903-9219 I got from the old bank sounded like crap when I got it. Played around with it a little bit and now it's as smooth as it can be.
ExitSign250 We have an old wing and a new wing... The old wing has 7002ts with 270 pulls... And the new wing has some kind of rebranded T-bars with Advances (Eww)
I think the electrical amperage was a bit too high. Those strobes were going way too fast and the horns were as well. The law requires that strobes don’t flash faster than a rate of one flash per second. This is because of an epilepsy risk.
The amperage has nothing to do with it, if anything it would be the voltage. But that wasn’t the case here. These strobes were manufactured and installed in the 1980’s when codes weren’t as strict. These devices were also one of the first strobes available for the fire alarm market. And the technology was new, so there were some issues with flash rate and candela. (brightness)
Thanks!!! They all are have the same loudness, the second one just seemed louder because it was in a smaller area, also it's a STI logo Keychain not a stop sign, but still it's cool!
The strobe is wired in series to the horn. So when the strobe flashes, it takes come power to the horn. So the horn will get a little bit quieter when the strobe flashes. The 7002T is famous for the skipping. In my opinion, it makes the alarm unique and distinct.
No there's a 7001t(sorry I call it that when it's 7001t - 24 ) www.google.com/search?q=wheelock+7001t&client=ms-android-uscellular-us&prmd=smivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZi5nHo-zOAhUXz2MKHeVBDgMQ_AUICSgD&biw=360&bih=559
The transformer is connected to the power supply. If you don’t use a transformer you will blow up your panel. And just relax. I’ve owned this panel for 2 years now and I think I know what I’m talking about.
My school setup consist of Notifier BG-8's and 4251's with wheelock MT's and 7002T's and SimplexTrue Alerts, with a couple of 4050's and 4050-80 light plates with a rare 4030 dual projector horn.
I know you probably know now, but there is a screw on the right side of the alarm(opposite side of the coil)that you can adjust to change the pitch of the horn. You can fix that one outside of your door that way.
Cool! I have 3 70002t's, but I'm getting 4 more soon! The two worked and the one didn't but I fixed it. Please check out the one more comment I left you on your new video.

+Ian W. Sweet
@@ExitSign250 i saw thoses alarms
I feel sorry for when this goes off at night.
The wheelock 7002T in your room sounds like safety security alert's wheelock 7002T
Why wouldn't it
Favorite system test!
R.I.P.
+Evan Bart 410 That’s great! Yeah I know....

+BlueDragon204 Ok cool
You already know when there’s a fire in the house, it will be impossible to hear even in your sleep
Low frequency sounders are best for sleeping rooms
if you ever get another panel, you should bring the house system back, i really enjoyed it and i kinda miss it now
I know. I definitely enjoyed having the house system for a years it was up. Hopefully one day when I’m in my own house I will install a house system and make house system tests again!
Even though those are on fwr and one of them is raspy, they all sound great together!
True that!

I've already adjusted as well as I can and that was the result, also I meant they sounded better on the 5UD then the MS-2
That FWR makes those horns sound so rough
+NJMoo3652 Yeah, but they still sound goid
Brings me back to my middle school days
this is my favorite system test you have done
Simplex made one of those pull stations at 1:53
This sounds like a fire drill at my High School!
+phillies4100 Hehe
ExitSign250 We have an old wing and a new wing... The old wing has 7002ts with 270 pulls... And the new wing has some kind of rebranded T-bars with Advances (Eww)
+phillies4100 Cool
ExitSign250 Yep. I have audio on my channel from the fire drill... I believe it's called November 2013 fire drill or something

7002T's Are So Looooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud! Also great system! :)
awesome!!! those 7002t's are loud!
Thanks! They are very loud!
"system test 7 " 7 years ago
The 7000 2t in the hallway sounds like a leaf blower
Those are loud! Why does the second one sound a little louder than the others?
I also like your Stop Sign keychain!
Thanks!!! They all are have the same loudness, the second one just seemed louder because it was in a smaller area, also it's a STI logo Keychain not a stop sign, but still it's cool!
Nice! I don't know why I haven't commented till now lol
+NJMoo3652 Hehe
+ExitSign250 I say your 7002t in the hallway it sounds like a shool fire drill!
+piktureit Yep
ExitSign250 I sub you
your so right I love continues
Cool! I have a System Sensor SW too!
So awesome.
+capt421 Thanks!!
Why does the 7002t skip a beat when the strobe flashes?
The strobe is wired in series to the horn. So when the strobe flashes, it takes come power to the horn. So the horn will get a little bit quieter when the strobe flashes. The 7002T is famous for the skipping. In my opinion, it makes the alarm unique and distinct.
If you did have another 7002t and if you had it downstairs this would be really loud
Why do I find this fascinating
The system reminds me of my schools old system exempt with a different panel
+Nick Wilde Cool
The one in your room is faster than the others:D
+Bridgot Loesch Yep! That one is in the best condition
How come the horn of the 7002T in your room does the skipping
The candela on the 7002T is actually 0.5 CD, not 0.4 just a correction :)
Actually, not on my units. They specifically say “0.4 CD” on the back.
Oh, ok. I thought that they were 0.5
Some are. I’ve even seen some that say “0.8”
Omg this was the best one
You know it has to be different if two is too loud
Very nice, do a monoxide alarm these.
+Bobby Thanks, but what do you mean by "do a monoxide alarm these"
Like this: there's Some alarms are combined with carbon monoxide alarms (2 in 1 alarm)
+Bobby I know about them, and what were you asking in the first place?
Three of the same alarm is crazy
NICE DUDE 10/10!!!
+ModernFireAlarmCollector2015 Thanks?
Love it and im new to you. Yay! Would love to see a 7001t one day :)
+miguel torres Thanks! And you you mean 7002T?
No there's a 7001t(sorry I call it that when it's 7001t - 24 ) www.google.com/search?q=wheelock+7001t&client=ms-android-uscellular-us&prmd=smivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZi5nHo-zOAhUXz2MKHeVBDgMQ_AUICSgD&biw=360&bih=559
+miguel torres Ohhhhh, isn't that the ceiling mount version?
I don't know because I saw a video where they were mounted on walls
+miguel torres Oh, then I don't lnow
I managed to catch the alarm mid-strobe
Cool firealarm system
+zach laviolette Thanks
What is your phone number
+zach laviolette Sorry, I cannot give that out due to privacy
Awesome!
Thanks!!
my school has that kind of fire alarm in the gymnasium
+Video World Sweet
I really don't like how the lettering fades off they should make better quality printing and the one in your hall way sounds like a lawn mower lol
+Fire alarm 8 Hehe yeah!
I saw your comment on S.E.R
Is it required to have a transformer for an MS-10UD?
How else would you power the panel?
ExitSign250 A TRANSFORMER, NOT a FLPS-3.
The transformer is connected to the power supply. If you don’t use a transformer you will blow up your panel. And just relax. I’ve owned this panel for 2 years now and I think I know what I’m talking about.
ExitSign250 Sorry about sounding aggressive about it. It’s because I’ve seen stock photos of the MS-10UD and there isn’t a transformer.
ExitSign250 Also, I’ve answered my own question, I was looking at the 5UD, not the 10UD....
nice!
Thanks!!
Thanks!
Fire alarm person sent me here😋
Awesome!!! Thanks for stopping by!
what is the loudest alarm you have
+Aaron Adamson That’s a good question! I’d have to think about it.....
My Loudest Alarm Is The Simplex 4051
WillardCrafto mine is truealert horn strobe
Fwr is eating those 7002ts up
Is the white device a specteralert advance?
+Xander Williams Yes, as I said in the video.....
ExitSign250 i dident hear it because of the 702ts
+Xander Williams I said it when I was showing each device before the system activated..
freddy frazbear You couldn't hear it because it's a strobe...
My school had 7002T and 7004T in continues and so loud inside and outside.
+Scorpian SS Awesome
+ExitSign250 I mean I don't like those horns and make me crap out and scare me
+Scorpian SS I think they're old and interesting. They also are apart of history
Cool!
Thanks!!!
love it
Thanks!! I do as well
Do you have the fire alarm panel still up?

So cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Peter Dekant Thanks!

Awesome
+Pat Skchan Thanks
Why is there 2 7002ts
I know you probably know now, but there is a screw on the right side of the alarm(opposite side of the coil)that you can adjust to change the pitch of the horn. You can fix that one outside of your door that way.
+Alexander Goushy I fixed all of them to the best of my ability
those alarms are very loud
+Aaron Adamson They are
why would you buy them if they are very loud
+Aaron Adamson Because I like to collect fire alarms.
so so cool
Thanks!
Nice
Thanks!!!!
Wheelock 7000T sound like police car
Cool! I have 3 70002t's, but I'm getting 4 more soon! The two worked and the one didn't but I fixed it. Please check out the one more comment I left you on your new video.
