    Can you please make a video showing how and where on your large plant to take the cuttings from ,as mine are very large plants in a garden of the house I have just bought!!!

      I have a video that goes into propagation, but maybe not the detail you’re looking for on where to cut. I will definitely include in an upcoming video. Thanks for the 💡

    My monstera just keeps vining and won’t get bigger leaves. I keep taking cuttings but get same results. Any help would be appreciated.

      Sounds like it might not be getting enough light.

    I was given a pot of 5 monstera in it and they’re facing all directions 😩. I know what I have to do but don’t want to disturb the roots. I may try this spring to repot it.
    Thank you that was well explained ❤

      I bought a 7gallon planter w/ 4 plants all facing outwards. They are placed in a circle. Maybe 1 huge pole or trellis in the middle? lol I am waiting until spring to tackle the challenge of getting the plants to face 1 direction and to trellis it.

      @@sarahzuber8219 I’ll likely remove 2 plants and leave 3 in that pot but I don’t want to do it, I’m not confident enough to play with the roots 😩

    Nice! I separated mine by dividing. I will have to try this way next time. Seems like coco coir is the way to go for Monsteras too. Question: how would you stake that? Not a pole behind each plant. Right? Thanks 😊

      Thank you. You can use coir or peat, we just need a component in the medium that will hold some water. I will be staking it with 3 separate stakes. At first with a wooden dowel and then a plank. You could also use a trellis.

    I tried to place mine appropriately but as the soil settled I realized one had shifted slightly. So now the 2 plants backs face each other 😅 I’m wondering if this will be a problem later? 😂

    Can i get cutting from small plant monstera

    • @monstrofarm
      @monstrofarm  9 месяцев назад

      Yes. These were actually from a smaller Monstera. Try to let it have a little cane and even better, but not necessary would be a root poking out. Good luck.

    Mine started with 3, I put them in a larger pot with a pole. but didn’t think to space them out. the third vine was getting choked out so I eventually propagated it. I guess a trellis would have worked better than a pole too so I could keep them farther apart. Anyways it’s happy with 2 vines and needs another repot but I can’t until hubby can help.
