- I thrifted this Pentax IQZoom700 at a shop in the Bay Area a while back and decided it was time to put it to the test.
In the wake of point and shoot film cameras becoming extremely popular, it's actually pretty easy to find something similar to this little beauty. The images were not astounding my any means but for $5 I'm definitely happy with how they turned out.

Heck yeah, super fun! Will have to try this.
Inspiring! I just picked up a similar model, the Pentax AF zoom 60 not tried it yet but looking forward to reviewing and testing it out.
Your photos turned out great 👍
Keep up the great content bro!
Great great video! I have had mine for a year now and not really done lots with it but i was really surprised with some club stuff i shot with it recently so i've made an effort to use it elsewhere after seeing how good the optics were. One question, see with shots that had a fair bit of the sky in shot, did you find the camera was getting the right exposure or did you have to use the sky/backlight compensation often to get what you assumed would be the right exposure? The shots with the buildings and sky at about 2:38 for example, reckon this would have been with the backlight compensation? just trying to get a gauge on what to get with this camera etc.
Thanks for your video!
Lovely compositions, portra has so good colors tho, almost everything looks nice with it :D
Im in love with the Portra look, need to get a roll of it for sure, it got soooo expensive tho holy heck
I found the same model at a Goodwill last month. After developing a few rolls, the quality is much better than expected - about the same as your results. Autofocus cameras are pretty lame, IMO, but if you can work around that it's definitely worth picking this camera up.
How did it work with the flash? Did you do any night photos... did they work well?
The photos you show, are that the exact photos u get back from the store? Or did you get digital copies and edit those in lightroom for example? Just trying to understand how it goes thanks :) great video!
Here for the Karin photos ⚡️
Let me just say you deserve more subs
Aww thanks!
I just bought a mint condition Pentax zoom 90 for the sumly price of £4 about 5 dollar's. New batteries inserted opened the zoom to full length and there's not one scratch to be seen. Well chuffed. Waiting for 35mm film to arrive so I can start snapping 👍👍
How did the pictures turn out?
@@LouisNavor Hi buddy. Believe it or not but I haven't finished the film of yet lol. I'm shooting it and a Pracktica LTL and an Isolette medium format and a Canon sure shot zoom XL at different intervals. As soon as I have the film used and developed I'll get rite back to ya. Best wishes from the Giants Causeway here in the Emerald Isle 🍀🍀👍
