I love my rotowash, had mine for 4 years now and ive completely figured out all its quirks and when and where to use it. I have the smaller R30b version (13in). It really excels in many of the same areas that a OP machine would...large areas. Its ability to rinse and collect soil without bonnets makes it a great pick for many commercial environments. Its utility comes in on jobs where you'd think " ok some of this needs pads and but most of it can be encapped". Ex. A large office or church that has heavy soiling up the main entry and or isles...but the majority isnt bad. Pretreat and use just the brushes for 90% and the rinsing for the 10% where its needed. It also excels in residential plush carpets and imo does a better job (optically) than a 175 due to its "combing" scrubbing motion and lifting the pile. It also will dig out stuff that the vacuum or the 175 never could and is a must for residential pet jobs. It'll dig out odor causing tangled hair pet hair, rinse out piss from fibers, and thoroughly comb your solution into the fibers. After vacuuming i can normally remove enough hair with my rotowash to make a new dog! Your model is a little to big for most residentials, but will pump out sqftage in commercial. I use this machine to clean 80% of the commercial jobs, and 95% of my prescrub HWE jobs. Its absolute perfect situation imo?...2 guys 10k + sqft...one guy does the large lightly soiled areas with the roto, the other pad caps the heavy soil. LONG COMMENT i know lol but i thought it might help
Also when doing halls, if found it to be much easier starting on the left hand side of hall...finishing a pass...and pulling my cord over what i just cleaned and working left to right. you never have to fight cord or do the turns you were doing. It does take some coordination doing back pedals with it lol
@@JF-- Excellent reply, this is how we learn from one another and together we can all gain knowledge. I like the option of choosing the right machine for each job and the Rotowash or Multiwash are a great asset to anyone using VLM and wants to steer away from HWE.

Love that part of you getting the water water out at the end!
Yes, it was very concentrated and black mud!! There was also a lot of little hairs and grit, there was no carpet fibre as this was an Olefin carpet.
Is the rotowash have a larger collection than the multiwash?
There are different models of Rotowash from 12-22 inches. The Multiwash I have is 14"
