When lining envelopes, I tuck the paper in, fold it, then glue only the flap. So quick and easy! Ah, Strawberries! Probably my favorite fruit. I remember doing a U Pick with my Mom when I was around 4. A spider bit my toe. It hurt and I cried a lot, but it didn't stop me wanting to pick, lol. I'll bet your son remembers that lovely day with Mum.❤ I grow Strawberries in my garden now, (the variety I have fruits in June) and that first berry of the season is my favorite bite of the year! Eye rolling delicious 😋 😂❤
I'm trying to clean out the closet in my craft room, so I can barely walk around. One of those projects you regret even starting! You'll be glad to have such a lovely stash when you need them.
When I had a garden I always had a corner of strawberries. They are a “stoop” harvest making them labor intensive. The plants have to be replaced every three years. Still worth it, when you are young.
Love that idea! I don’t usually line envelope, what a fun thing to do. It is just starting to be spring(April 2024)now, not summer yet, you did film this a long time ago. We don’t have disposable barbecues here in the US, never heard of them, interesting idea. Have a lovely week coming up. 💕🌸💕
Beautiful Tina. Today's Quote: "Collect memories not things. Fill-up dreams, not pockets. Rise above your calling and be the person you always wanted to be. -Akash Borchetia. 23.889 degrees celsius is hot for me and Florida is just getting it back. Summers are horrendous and the humidity is unbearable. I'd not be able to craft without the Shaker Air Conditioners in the windows. Positive Vibes and Blessed Prayers for the weather to improve for you. Huge HUGS! Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
I'm still organizing my 1bedroom unit with my craft. I downsized very reluctantly from larger family home 8 months ago and it hasn't gone well at all. But some new help has been wonderful and I'm finally seeing some light. So the last few days I've been covering sturdy cardboard with scrapbooking papers I'm not really keen on and cutting them down into strips of narrow and wide to wind laces and ribbons and trims on. I've also cut some into bobbin shapes to wind threads around. Then I'm putting them into my cubby tubs so I can just pull out the carded laces & trims I'm likely to use, so my desk doesn't look like Tina's. 😉Sorry Tina 😀To organise them in the cubby tub I'm putting them into containers or little boxes. Of course I have metres and metres of some of the trims, etc, because I usually buy some things in bulk. Those larger pieces have smaller amounts, 1-2mt, on the cards and larger leftover pieces are bundled and on the bottom of the cubby tub with the smaller containers sitting on top. Today I am sorting the threads and cords, carding them and organizing them into another cubby tub. It's a big job. And it's getting done. My dining/living room is my craft room. My storage room of bulk materials until organized is behind my bedroom door and in plastic covered tubs outside (no shed) and smaller containers that fit in my kitchen cupboards up top hold my lesser used craft items, like tools, ie: die cutting machine, engraver, cricut, laminator, multitool, etc. as well as lesser used supplies like cricut foils and papers & tools, cards, and other recyclables. I have a craft shop supply of crafts. I hoard craft supplies. I am slowly letting some things go. Sorry for the novel sized answer to 'what I'm crafting/doing'. I enjoyed the x files series. Please do another one. I usually wait until they dry. Not really sure if I've done it when wet. So are you going to keep up this momentum of using your scraps immediately? lol. I love hearing your lovely little dog telling you off. lol Thanks for sharing Tina.
I spent the Day organizing my Laces and My scrapes putting scrapes from certain themes together took me all afternoon to do this I am ss Happy to have it done so now when I go to use them I know where they are . I have a small desk so I have to keep it fairy organized so I can actually work on it so I can not have to much on it ,I guess this is a good thing , my scrapes though where in a bucket and was driving me crazy to find certain things so I organized them today. Love how you lined your envelops they look great dear .💖
We still have quite a few u-pick places here in the US. But honestly you can buy them cheaper at the grocery even though they are probably not as good. But I also have many fond memories picking with the kids. You are so right we blink and our children are grown time goes so fast.
Loved this video Tina. You could do a series called “Follow Up Friday” making things with the leftover “scraps” from the Mass Making Tuesday video. 💕💕💕
Hi Tina, I don't believe I have ever lined an envelope. Something new to try thanks to my inspiring friend! Btw, your new Paris collection is stunning. Would you consider parisan ladies, maybe old photographs & maybe fashion we could use with the kits? Xo, Julie 💋💗👗⚜️🪭⚜️🛍💗💌
We had cousins that worked picking strawberries. We were city kids and thought it was fun. It isn't fun when you have to do it all the time. When they would come to visit they would bring us fresh picked strawberries. Yummmmm. A couple of days ago we had snow about 10 miles away from us. We had hail and snow flurries. It has been freezing cold. I was making my butterfly paperclips today. I don't line the envelopes because my cards are bulky with all the layering. I use the card scraps to coordinate the outside of the envelope. Much love to and your family.
Dying papers..Outside I do too..cuz I can just lay them on my walk way or tables and thier dried so fast. I've never tried to the oven technique seems hazardous..lol. I just made some, oh did cheat and used my heater fan in bathroom .but hey it worked
Hello Tina, love your channel. Stop calling yourself names silly. Love your personality. Hey I think daughter b would making the paper clip dresses ir safety pins. I've been addicted to making them this month.
I'm so bad at lining envelopes 🙈😄. You look super tanned, I'm guessing you filmed this ahead lol. I'm making a journal with stuff left over from my witchy ones! Filming the coptic binding today. We're like the three bears with the weather🙊, too cold, too hot, too wet lol. We have a portable air conditioner as the fans are useless. I have lots of scraps, they're just not on my desk. Bad weather=bad strawberries. I loved picking all summer when I was young, then wild blackberries in the autumn. (I'm a country girl). We ate more lol. Yes, wet flaps are easier to fold. Made paper ruffles and strips yesterday. Do lay dyed paper on the grass? . Wondering if you remembered to finish them lol and did you keep your scrap busting up? Lol I didn't🙈. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

I just had an idea-what do you think- take all the scrapes that you don't want and put them through a shredder- then sprinkle them on paper and glue them down- now you have new paper-no scrapes- and new designs
I actually WISH you would zoom out and show us your desk!!!!! Its always fun to see other peoples mess😂😂😂😂
Me too! I just want to see how others manage to keep what they need available close to them
Oh, and I have so many envelopes and so many 6 x 6 papers I could use with this. Thank you. This is a great idea.❤
Just beautiful envelopes! Thank you for all the wonderful crafty ideas!

I’m recovering from an eye operation so I’m wanting my healing to hurry up so I can craft. I adore these envelopes. 💜

We have pick your own strawberries and they are so good!!
They are so good aren’t they? X
My desk is much like yours, Tina. I do lots of random collage when it gets like that.
We get our strawberries from Runcton farm shop and never been disappointed. I think they also do PYO.
Omg, how cool is that. I just drove past there at the weekend xx
Tina, such a wonderful idea for our larger scraps. Thank you!
