What I hate is you can see there is some potential to this mode but EA are just so lazy to make it more immersive, enjoyable and realistic but they don't wanna do that they'd rather focus on the Ultimate team.

And frustratingly ultimate team is the worst it’s ever been.
it’s money isn’t it, but if they truly cared about the game they’d find a way, like others have said a dlc that just includes more immersion stuff like stadiums, managers, better wonderkid faces, create a club stuff
I think everybody agrees that Ultimate Team is the root of the issues with Fifa in genrral yet everybody plays it every year. As a person who barely played and never liked Ultimate Team(I only every paid like 10 bucks to opem some packs for fun) I don't get why people still play it and pay for it.
For me, I hate the fact that a game-breaking bug has been in the game for 3 YEARS!! But they haven't fixed it. I'm talking about domestic cup objectives leading you to get fired if you don't achieve them. You have League 2 sides who win the league easily, but because they didn't get to the 4th round, they are fired. It's beyond a joke now. 3 years!

I also hate the new scouting system in career mode..you can no longer look for specific traits like pacey or strong players which will help save time and narrow down your search for what you want exactly. Now you have to search for any player and start filtering what you're looking for which is very cumbersome at times.
Career mode is really really below the bar like i always say Fifa has many old gamers that prefer manager mode than ultimate team, because they're focusing on profits from ultimate team leaving us out and commentary sucks

This is what I think of the whole career mode in FC24:
They added these cutscenes where it shows the atmosphere before a game, and entrance, rather than keep the regulars lineups;
In big games like derbies and classics, I noticed that the pre-match cutscenes from FIFA 23 are still present. But after these moments, it abruptly transitions to everyone on the field, without additional cutscenes. It makes me wonder, why did they remove this feature from FIFA 23? It added a smoother flow to the experience;
In smaller leagues like the Portuguese league, most teams don't have licensed goalkeeper outfits for some reason??? Why they still haven't put it in is mind-boggling, especially because they have the license for the league;
They still dont allow us to have more than 7 substitute players on the bench, which is completely idiotic at this point;
Create a club is a big disappointment; they lied about the sponsors. They literally put 3 or 4 jerseys in the game, and the sponsors are Electronic Arts, Frostbite, and Hypermotion. Oh, and these don't have any branding at all like Adidas or Nike. So, you either pick one kit with branding and no sponsor or one with a lame sponsor and no branding. And the goalkeeper equipment is, of course, completely generic options only;
Lastly, a small but significant detail for me was the removal of Ted Lasso and Richmond AFC. I enjoyed using them in career mode, especially Ted Lasso as a coach. He was fully scanned, saving the hassle of creating a new character;
They have also removed several national teams, including Australia, Austria, Canada, and China. With the removal of these teams, it seems there might not be enough squads to support a World Cup tournament, which typically requires a minimum of 32 teams. However, I could be mistaken, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Nevertheless, the removal of teams rather than their addition is generally not well-received by the community.
In my opinion, this year's career mode is worse than last year's, with the exception of hiring coaches and the new training mode. And if they don´t add at least the line ups back in an update, I will probably just go back to FIFA 23, as career mode is the only thing I play.
The World Cup still happens in Career Mode I’m pretty sure as when you are a manager and get given an international contract it says “international men’s tournament: reach round of 16” it’s quite sad tho how it’s not called World Cup as they just don’t have the license for it

Releasing coaches worked in the beta but stopped working after the game came out
game is so broken. started a career with salford. I was top of the league and about to win the league. but I got sacked because I got knocked out of the FA cup to Luton who are in the prem. 3 hours down the drain I had to start all over again.
You'll start to realize that EA has no interested in you spending hours in career mode or tournaments or leagues, you can see it in the removed entrance sequences, the shambolic AI. It's basically just turning into a card collection game and that's what makes them tons of money. Ultimate Team has ultimately, spelled the end for football games. The signs were there years ago when FIFA 15 had "Ultimate Team" in the title
Not being able to fire coaches' bugs is just mindblowing. It's still a problem today, weeks after full release and nearly a month after Early Access. What trips me out is that this is a NEW feature so you'd think there would be tons of focus to make sure it works, and they bottled it.
Even more surprising is that the game doesn't technically crash when you try to fire coaches. I play on a PC so my mouse & keyboard are still active when I use a controller. What's happening is that there's a problem with the game recognizing the input to "fire" the coaches. When you move the mouse around you can see the selection working despite the background activating other menus.
Maybe someone here who is familiar with game coding can explain it better. But the fact that this hasn't been fixed yet tells me either they simply can't be bothered (which I think it is) or that someone royally messed up this feature upon release and it will take some serious coding work to get this to function. The fact that they've been quiet about this tells me they simply don't care. 🤷♂
Considering that Career Mode doesn't bring them additional money after you've purchased the game, I'm pretty sure we can say that they simply don't care.
Still no updates and bug fixes in fc24 career mode😂 no line ups features added and no team walk out cut scenes added where players are shaking hands before the kick off. Fc24 career mode is so bad. On my player career mode I’m playing for England national team and on full time in dressing room my clubs logo who I play for in the league Ofc
and the manager of my club is popping up. Looks like this feature won’t ever be fixed and boy does it bug me when it says on the title on news section “ Chelsea beat Spain by 2-1 “ how is that even possible 😂 ea will never learn. Awful career mode this year. Still so many more broken features and bugs than I’ve mentioned as well..
I really need fifa to create a good game to challenge fc. I never understood why EA released yearly games. Just focus on making a good game, release it every few years, and sell dlcs to update teams, kits, players, etc. it’s infuriating!
Why did all the pre match line up cut scenes get removed . Even the champion league final has none
The whole releasing a coach thing really annoyed me honestly coz I needed to change my tactical vision and the coach I had wasn't experienced enough for the vision I had changed to, but the game crashes when you try to fire them...
The release a coach bug is horrifyingly bad, but if it's only the tactical vision that's the problem, then you just have to keep playing as the coach will earn experience and become better in that style.
I think FIFA 23 was the last one I’ll ever buy. At this point I’m just hoping Konami puts together something that feels a little more enjoyable, but I’m done with EA. A ton of potential in this one to revamp the game and I think they had a lot to prove after losing their FIFA licensing but it doesn’t mean anything. Career mode is the same year over year barring aesthetic changes and at this point they should genuinely just call it EA FC Ultimate Team 24
What I hate is my defenders don’t defend, don’t space, don’t do anything. The defending in this game is so
Underpowered it almost makes it unplayable
The other thing I wish they could bring back is the ability to adjust the wage vs transfer budget... That really used to help with transfers, especially when you are low on cash, you could get some boost from the wage budget and then negotiate a lower salary for the player you're trying to sign
Also one thing you didn't mention: In player career mode, when you use Pro camera when you want more immersion, on PS5 it runs only 30 fps. That was a deal breaker for me.
Imo the biggest problem is with how players accelerate. It can take 3-4 seconds to get some players to start running. It’s especially noticeable when you are do a career mode with a team that is not elite. Very easy for opponent to knock the ball past you. I am all for an attacking edge… just too skewed currently.
Full kit creation without those awful template kits would be amazing I don’t understand the stinginess and the laziness ea hate their users. The career mode is dry feels like there is no real control or customisation.
One thing I don't like is that you can't know how many goals a player has scored for the club in total just in the season. In efootball you could see how many goals the player has scored for the club
The one thing i dont like i dont know if anyone has noticed it but there is a glitch where players go invisible and you have to reload the game
If you draw in fa cup and then on replay few days later you win, the board objective counts it as if you lost it

Think of this…If Konami can create a different game from scratch,Konami can also create a different game for career mode only apart from efootball
I really wish They take this decision of creating a well planned career mode game from scratch which can cover a players story line or a coach’s story line in the game.
In this case,they can make this brand seperate from their annual releases of their games.
It would be worth it if we could see a different game of Career mode made by Konami since most of us really want to play master league.

If you get a red card in a match a player on the pitch will turn invisible which is unbelievable

For the life of me I can’t understand why stats aren’t tracked. Every season it’s like the previous season didn’t happen. Also I hate that you can’t see the potential of a player u want to sign via transfer unless u go on a website 🤦🏾♂️

Highlights are broken, played a game today, as zaragoza manager, gave a penalty away, their pk taker kicks it, its going in but it cuts to a new play and didn't count the goal. Next Highlight, im through with my striker, finesse it, crosses the goal line, cuts the scene again and again didn't count the goal. Gk Rush from goal is broken, gets stuck running in the same spot...
This is what happens when you "lose" FIFA licence. Its NOT just the FIFA logo. They still bought FIFPRO so they could keep all the players, but now they gotta go one by one to get the managers back. Not gonna happen.
are you sure? My understanding is that the FIFA brand didn't give EA any licenses to any teams, players, managers, etc, it was just the brand name. Surely managers likenesses are represented by the LMA or their agents?
@@WOOOPdoctorFROGhere your right. FIFA doesn't own any of those. But they do own FIFPRO which is there player uinion, and THEY own the rights to just about everyone. EA has gone out and probably has individual licenses for player likenesses for the top guys like Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe, guys like that. But for the other 14,500 player liknesses they use FIFPRO. They always have. It used to say it on the title screen of every game. So EA lied to you when they said they cut ties with FIFA. They are obviously still using FIFPRO which is owned by FIFA.
It’s because ea focus on fut, that’s how they make money through all the 15 year olds sweating it every day. Ea don’t care they just want money.

I hate objectives. Sometimes I don't wanna scout youth players because I only want real players and the board get annoyed because my 50 rated regen hasn't played 50% of Premier League games. I also hate renewing a players contract for the next day or 2 they ask for a better contract but you've just give one so can't give another for them then to request a transfer away or get sacked for not controlling dressing room

That’s why EA doesn’t put much effort into career mode cuz they only care about ULTIMATE TEAM
a glitch i have noticed in the news article before a match, where one of the star players facing each other have a glitched twisted face where their neck is almost broken
for the sponsors could just use the names of the designers of the games as names for companies, so if they have a john smith working on the design team, do like smith's bakery or if they have somebody named Gino could just do Gino's Pizzas or something and use one of those free logo makers or just use he same stuff/people they use to make logos for unlicensed teams, like roma fc's logo, just make one in the same way for the sponsors
EA will only start taking career mode seriously when they figure out a way to bake in micro transactions (probably when online career mode arrives). £60 - £90 for a game should be enough! Good luck finding your moral compass EA!
Please release a video when the game breaking bug is fixed (the bug that crashes the game when you fire a coach)

I've had every FIFA game since 07, last couple years I've not played it much and this year is the year I won't be buying it. Been utter garbage for too long, Career Mode was genuinely better in the 00's, the game mode has so much potential yet every year it gets neglected. The gameplay has gone downhill too, it used to be a decent sim of football now it's like an iceskating arcade game. Sad state of affairs, I hope another company can challenge EA and make a better game because football fans deserve it.
ea are so lazy,i agree with everything on the video,and there is other things,for example i just signed osimhen in a career mode,the guy has to score and get you to zoom on his face to see his blonde hair and the mask,other than that he looks a random black player with black hair

One thing I hate is that we get a new commentary team and we can’t even use them in career! There is also the youth academy players, why can’t the game edit them into the actual kit of the club you’re playing as? They’ve got this generic orange kit

Quick question, with the Create-a-Club kits, can you use the same template but just reversing the colours yet? Or are we still forced to choose 3 separate templates. If it's still the same, then I guessing your still not able to change the socks and shorts colours independently? It's ridiculous the lack of customisation with this game feature and the lack of Goalkeeper kit options is pathetic. Still not going to purchasing this game which will be a first one I've missed since buying my first with Fifa 06. The amount of copying and pasting from title to title is now a joke.

So true every year is the same I did play the Beta I mentioned so many things including that bug in career mode that crashes the game so many complaints where published on the EA forums during the Beta and they fixed none of them
What I hate is somehow Balde leaving my Barca team after winning the treble he didn’t reject Bayern after they triggered the release clause
That's completely your own fault, it's literally been in fifa for years that you always negotiate a new contract without a clause when their release clause has been triggered or they will leave, the game even warns you when it's been triggered so if you just ignored that and thought he would reject Bayern then you messed up.
I played the closed beta for eafc24 and it did not have that bug where you can’t fire a coach, I have no idea how they’ve made it worse after beta?!

It's quiet obvious that they're about to sack all the singleplayer modis.
They reduced so many things like game and career based commentary, walk ons and so on, making contracts and gameplay more arcady and so on
So i'm pretty sure they will remove those modis anyway in the next years to focus about UT an online leagues.

I brought the game , but then got a full refund. Everyone should do this. Very Poor game. Nothing new. Just a cut & paste. EA Had the chance to build a brand new game but just chose the easy option.

@@djc430154 I been saying the same thing ever since FIFA moved on to the PS4 generation and there's STILL bugs from like FIFA 17. For FIFA 20, I began getting it for PC and used mods, the only way to play FIFA imo. I then skipped until FIFA 23 for pc (only paid $20 for christmas time discount) and will stay on that for a few years as modding community is the only way I'll play the game
