@@ridindirt Nah, I rode with my son. Didn't know there was a race until we got there. I just saw you from the chair. I'm sure I'm run into you one of these days and I'll say hi. Are you guys done building at Tioga? Heading up there over the 4th.
@@robbienagel7869 right on dude. We were going to be heading up the to maintenance Ghostplane and some other stuff that week actually but I guess it’s not happening anymore. We are plenty busy but I was looking forward to going there again and getting those jumps dialed. Ghostplane is so sick. Love Tioga and Grand Rapids is a pretty cool town.
Looks majorly fun. Also really enjoyed all those third person shots that got spliced in to show the scale of the trail. Only thing you could have done to make it better was rip down it in a banana suit man other than that I think you (and J girl) fully nailed it with this vid. 🤙🏼Send it 🍌
Question for you: I’ll be going to spirit a few times this year but I’m new to jumping and really want to improve. What’s the best place around the metro to learn and improve?
If you’re just looking to improve your jumping skills I’d say Cottage Grove bike park might be your best bet that’s near the metro. The Loppet skills park at Theo is decent. There’s a new and fun jumpline at Willow River State Park across the river in WI. If you really want to get your jump on though, Giants Ridge is the place with the new jumpline.
Ha! The secret to jumping is doing over and over for a long time. There’s plenty of pointers out there but it’s just something that comes with lots of practice and time
Yewwww super sick meeting you and thanks again for the stickers!
Yeah buddy for sure!! 🤙🏻
Sick! I saw you riding around on Saturday and felt bad that the course was closed, but I'm happy you got your shot at it on Sunday though!
You should’ve said hi dude! I rode it after the race and then got all this filmed on Sunday. So fun. Did you race?

Awesome trail dude. You rode that like a savage.
Top riding as always. Keep it up. 🤙🏴
Thanks dude! The trail is super fun! 🙌🏻
Looks pretty awesome. Glad to see Spirit opened and is building new trail.
Yeah for sure, me too!
Fast trail that mate... Looks like heaps of fun... Liked the extra footages edited in there as well. Sweet vid
Thanks buddy! Super fun trail 🤙🏻
Damn! So sick! My buddy Jacob did a hell of a job building this one. Way to shred, time for me to get north for spirit, split rock, jackpot and more!
Travis, when are you heading up? It’d be sick to link up on something soon.
Hell yeah buddy! It is most definitely time
@@Dialed1 I agree
Sick riding. Great edit. A true shredder. Wish I'd watched your vids BEFORE I went to Spirit Mountain!
This trail is so good. Spirit Mtn bike park is a gem. #supportmnbikeparks
Most definitely! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
🤘Rad to see trails like that being built. There’s a good diversity of trails options up north these days. Super happy to see that.
Yeah man, totally agree!
Heading up this weekend, Really can't wait now!!
Hell yeah! Have fun buddy 🤙🏻

Nice run, looks like a killer trail. I've still not been there...
Thanks, it’s super fun. Definitely should make the trip. I’d suggest hitting Giants Ridge also

Sweet camera work and editing on this video.
Thanks buddy. Had my number one filmer J Girl on the camera 🤙🏻
Love the background music!

Sick riding dude!
Thanks buddy 🤙🏻
You should try Stone Age. It's a little Southwest from spirit mountain.
Yeah I’ve seen stuff of it but I don’t think I’ve ever ridden that one. Definitely one that’s on the list
Just rode it for the 1st time, that rock roller looks like nothing in this video, but it is an absolute wall in person
GoPro effect is definitely real. What did you think of the trail?!
Who’s ridden the new trail and what do you think of it?!
It’s gnarly
@@MidwestFreerideColation definitely 🤘🏻
It's fun!
@@attherightspeed how’d you do in the race buddy?
It definitely one of the best there, That rock roll is a little rough on a hard tail!
Looks so good! So does this take the place of Calculated risk?
Just an awesome addition. 🤙🏻
🤘🏼🤘🏼How’d the rustler handle the gnar laps?
It handled. Definitely coulda used some more travel though. And my rear rim isn’t looking so hot anymore 🤷🏻♂️
Got a pinch flat at the end of the rock roll just the other day!
Ditch them tubes already
looks super fun.
It’s definitely super fun 🤙🏻
i have 1 question, the ticket incluid the rent of the bike or you have to bring your own?
Bring your own bike or rent one for an extra fee. It’s like $70 extra dollars to rent a bike
Wicked riding as usual man! Did you compete in the race on this trail?
Thanks! Nope, just rode a bunch. A couple friends met me up there Saturday. Was a good time. Could’ve done without the fall but it’s all good
