Jana lol yes cool now but when it happened I was alone there and no owner to identify it for a while. It was growling and scary as f***. I was praying to the wind Gods for lift and not having to land lol... later on turned out to be a super friendly dog with all of us.
Jana yes! It was her very same dog! She is the pro there and gives instruction on site to students with her dog. Super cool girl. I just didn’t know that when the dog chased me for 5 minutes as I was scratching not to land lol
Great stuff Fernando. We live in NC but my daughter lives near San Francisco so I think I'll bring my wing when we go for a visit. Do you think mid July would be a good time?
Shobhit Gupta thanks. I flew an Icaro Maverick 3 medium (C class). My harness is the reversible 3 from Sky. Conditions went from 6-7mph SW (where you see me scratching pretty badly to stay up) to 12mph W where I pretty much did whatever I wanted, including hovering a foot from the ground indefinitely 😉
Jorge Roman I am not local to the area so I could not recommend but I believe a great female instructor frequents the site. I recommend searching online for such classes in sand city and you should be able to find her . I don’t have her name or info sorry but she was there when I filmed this video with several students.
@@fazpeitia thanks fernando , I am a flight attendant and took flight lessons, but getting involved in paragliding I bought myself a roadrunner from ozoneparagliders ,its a kiting wing , anyways thanks so much
@@fazpeitia Does USHPA have a list of approved flying sites with ratings? I tried looking on their website and it won't let me look into their ratings policy's without being a member.

Does this location require a P3 rating?
@@madslopersome links say it’s unregulated. But I’ve never flown there.
I can watch it forever 💚🪂
Getting chased by a Husky, super cool! :D

LOL! That husky looks familiar. I've seen instagram posts of a female pilot flying sand dunes with her husky. Might be the same one!

That's awesome. :-) Can't wait to try that site out.... although.... I hate to expose my new wing to salt air and sand. :-P Gahhh!
