  • It's easy to blame Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Studios for the sound of Hanni El Khatib's new album "Head in the Dirt," but that's an oversimplification. It's Nashville, the city, the pace, the people, who tell the story. Like Larry Sexton's engines, "Head in the Dirt" is forged from raw elements and a craftsman's eye. It's the deafening roar of a red-line engine, and cool as a cat's purr coasting in third gear. Follow Hanni around Nashville and catch an all the way live performance of "Nobody Move."

that's an instantaneous dynamic duo right there! (one was built to destroy and the other one to attack and release)

Good chance the control room photos (the first two) were were at Dan’s studio - Easy Eye Studio, Nashville TN. The third is 100% Easy Eye as it’s the same room where Hani and Dan are performing in for “Nobody Move”
