The issue is that when someone tries to drive Properly by planning lanes and giving indicators then our own loved ones sitting beside us judge us that we don't know how to drive Properly. Shameful.

Junaid bhai, I have driven in bangalore for two years almost daily. I tried to follow rules on many occasions. I have learnt one thing, that if you drive according to rules in subcontinent, you will be the ones who block traffic. If you follow rules, people just dont let you move.
Thats why I only tried following rules on weekends😁

I came to karachi from dubai first time and did not sleep on flight because i thought ill sleep in the car while i reach my destination but then when i tried to sleep😂 loud horn sounds car jumping because of bumps and the road was so smooth lol😂😂 i realized i was so wrong

The Situation has improved somewhat in Delhi after implementing EXHOBITANT fines for traffic violations.. But still the natural desi tendency is there
Satadal Payeng Here in Islamabad the traffic is good because of strict rules and laws. Even rickshaws are banned in Islamabad. The problem is at Lahore and Karachi.

you don't need to go abroad, you can get free exit towards left or right at signals in Lhr as well.
Roads infrastructure at Lhr is much better than any other city of Pakistan (excluding isb).

Recently I got a chance to drive in Karachi while I travelled back to Pakistan and I was stopped by traffic constable..As usual he asked me for vehicle documents which were almost fine.. I was expecting he would ask me license but imagine what he asked from me, sir mithai kiyun k gari ki number plate new hai.... Our system is corrupt, then what could you expect from public...

main reason - Driving licensing authority needs to change over all completely.
they must teach the laws and make it strict for ppl to get the license.
traffic police must ensure ppl drive according to the law and fine then and there if need.
ppl are just doing their duty and no one has a passion at work in traffic police. its the head of traffic police who has to bring this change.
Literally yahan even in islamabad ap ki approach hai tu its soo easy to get a driving license without any test or anything

This is what I’ve experienced and this is EXACTLY what I tell my mother about, and it has now become my favourite feature because whenever I want to shift lanes I indicate few seconds prior to changing lanes so that the car can pass by! I’ve learnt to drive in UAE and now I drive in Pakistan and this is exactly how I feel! My mother always scolds me upon getting angry while driving but I just can’t help it!!

1 main difference from 🇮🇳 India is majority of the bike and car models of 🇵🇰 Pakistan are from 90's. Mostly the bike model is Honda CD 70 which was discontinued in 1990 and today only Pakistan use this model in the entire world.

I also agree on this point that on fast lanes people drive slow comparable to slow lanes, where they drive fast. Second, if ambulance horns for an emergency, people commence intruding instead of giving a space for going.
Another fact is, backward cars and bikes can never estimate what ahead cars and bikes are to be.

Here in Scotland specifically when someone lets us in the lane, we put the hazard indicators on as a way of thanking them :) In Pakistan it’ll be the perfect system as by thanking other drivers they’ll feel appreciated and their ego won’t be hurt
