I left Karachi in 1986. I studied at SM Science College and my passion was, and still is, motorcycle riding. I found your video to be very nostalgic and disheartening as well. Many of the streets and areas you traveled through in this vlog used to be very nice and pristine. Traffic was always there in these areas but there used to be some method to the madness contrary to what I saw in this video. Additionally, traffic police, especially a sergeant, and traffic lights/signals were respected and people would obey the signs of a traffic cop and traffic signal as a rule. Of course, exceptions are always there even in Western countries. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this vlog, Thanks for taking the time and make this video, especially on the bike.

Bhai, I'm Kolkata, India. Before watching this video I thought our traffic sucks, but now I'm feeling like I'm staying in Singapore or somewhere like that. The main difference according to me is the traffic lights along with cameras that automatically register penalty when you break rules. Yeh kardo, 1.5 saal mein saare ke saare sidhe ek line mein ayenge. Ab toh bhagwan ki kripa se log zebra crossing bhi use karne lage hain.

Just focusing on the nostalgia and completely washing away the actual FRICKIN pain that a normal.person driving on that road goes through is so wrong. Dhor ke dhool sohane nhi hota. Living in a utopian world and just saying "Jesa bhi ha Mera ha" is disregarding all the actual glaring negatives of the city

I was in mumbai and i can really relate to the traffic culture and jam. People they just drive crazy without following any traffic rules agar traffic police khada he toh red line pe ruk jayenge. Aadha road toh parking fheri food stalls walo ne kabza kar liya he baaki road par bike or car truck ki racing lagti he upar se cow raasta rok leti he. But mumbai me log kaafi achi aur mehangi bike chalaate he yaha par bike ka sirf ek model he thanks junaid bhai for showing karachi city tour

I drive carefully but I know I could not drive in Karachi. And my sister and her husband died in a car accident in Karachi in 1995 , caused by a woman who was coming down the wrong way. There are consequences of idiocy. Sometimes they are fatal.

Thank you for giving a glimpse of Karachi city to us Indians. It satiate our curiosity of how Pak cities look like..
Few observations:
1. Traffic rules n general convention is also very rarely followed in tier2 cities of India, however in cities like Mumbai, Delhi Bangalore.. it’s more strict than what I saw in Karachi.
2. Very less Women on the streets. Complete opposite of what you will see in India. This shows negligible women participation in economy in Pak.
3. Old bikes. Truth is the bike models I saw in the entire video is long stopped in India. Shows me that in terms of automotive n mobility, Pak is still lagging us some distance.
4. General bazaar/shops:- same as in any Indian cities tbh.

Traffic is better in Lahore, and especially Islamabad which is unlike other cities in Pak and rules and regulations are strictly enforced there. Karachi has unfortunately been neglected for the last 15 years.
When you walk around bazaars you see lots of women, and in shopping malls, etc. Riding a bike is rare for women but driving cars is normal for women. Hopefully it improves.
@@AsimS92 yeah would be interesting to see other cities of your country! Actually, In india, you would find women riding e-scooter, cars pretty often! So, in that context, the observation.

In India people used to do the same, stopping much ahead of the stop line at a traffic light But in the past few years all cities have fixed traffic cameras on traffic signals and due to that violation challans were sent to people's homes. So this issue is resolved to an extent.
