I want to inject Joshua's current Superman run directly into my veins, it's so phenomenal, still going great. My favorite ongoing comic this year. Also, Batman and Robin is pretty neat.
Surprised to see that this was over an hour. It flew by! I could have easily listened to you two for a lot longer. Looking forward to the next discussions.
Props to Sal for putting the entire show on a roll, and props to Josh for upgrading his audio game!😅🥳🥳 Shows you that he really cares and enjoys being here🎉
Sal’s childhood story reminds me of when my family got a computer and I’d ask to download A SONG and my dad would remind me that “you have a PlayStation” lmaooo
The fondness of old comics is a strange thing for me. I didn’t collect comics as a kid. I’ve only been doing so this past year but as a kid I read what remained of my grandpas and dads comic books. There are three I remember prominently, the Alex Ross secret origins and the death of Superman, and o deadly darksied. I fell in love with the art of all the comics and how detailed they were. Reading Alex Ross comics as a kid is a whole new experience since it feels like a classic childrens book. The comics showed me art, action, and a overarching story that had all happened years before I was even born. I love the medium of comics and the stories that people can make with them.
Hitman is such an amazing series and is underrated among the masses honestly. Everyone knows how good it is from who has read it, but it is so good. That Superman issue is amazing and an omnibus is finally coming out next year.
Happy holidays to both of you guys. Thanks for answering my dark nights metal question. It was the event that got me back into comics. It was also the first time i followed a creator. Still some of my favorite few years in comics following that journey. Question for both Sal and Josh, do you have a favorite issue of a comic that you can cite easily today. Mine would be Superman/Batman annual #2 by Joe Kelly and Scott Kolins.
Yes, those Super Powers figures were the best! My brother is collecting the newly released Super Powers line, and it's crazy nostalgic. Wish All-Stars was weekly, but understandably it cant be done because Josh is too busy writing awesome stuff.
Whenever Josh wants to take a step back from writing, he seems like he'd be a solid editor-in-chief.
Oooooh man! Sal and Josh fleshing out Pirates vs. Predator was super exciting!
Lmao Tom Hanks versus Predator is GOLD!

Picked it up week by week and got the first hardcover, love it
MORE ALLSTARS LETS GO
Sal and Josh is such a great combo! I save these every month for when I'm super stressed because of the joy and friendship on display
How Williamson finds the time to write everything amazes me. Also I agree, Hitman is a perfect comic. I hold it as the best thing that Ennis ever made
I'm kinda blown away by that Skrull being damn near in plain sight when Vision dove bomb the mansion. What a neat little detail
I would love Josh's thoughts on how to pull off a good last page reveal.
Hitman is one of my all-time favorites!! I’m hoping for one more mini series with Tommy vs the Joker!
Sal and Josh need to work together to make this predator comic or at least write the script.
I need 20 pages of this NOW!!
This was great

What a great, solid podcast between a greater writer and my fave comic RUclipsr

Great conversation guys. Fn Pirate Predator sounds like a blast

I stumbled across Hitman randomly. And I also recommend it ANYTIME I can. It's really so good

lol. Everytime I hear Firestar, I think of the main cat character from Warriors 😂
If anyone could write a Superman game I’d say it’s Josh

Hexagon Bridge is dope!
Josh, you should have just quickly introduced yourself as the writer of Superman. "I hope you end up in those DC movies somewhere."

Its funny i was thinking about preordering green arrow #9 and once I added it to my cart I get a notification for All Stars.

Lil ol Sally Moore is the best thing to ever happen to Comic Pop
The day I got the megatron hiss tank transformer my life changed
I’d watch the hell out of that Predator movie
I am in for Predator vs Pirates
1:19:41 oh hey, that was my comment. Neat

What about future?🤔
You have to read hitman!
Leave it to Josh and Sal to leave you wanting the next episode, even though you ate a feast of great content🎉😂😅😊
