Friends,
This is a Math video. This is our fourth webisode (WB-4) on "Series 5 -- An introduction to Euclid's geometry ".
In this video, we learn about Euclid's 5th postulate.
This video is suited for class-9 (Class-IX) or grade-9 kids.
Cheers,
Friends at Rising Pearl
Observation related to Euclid's Fifth Postulate: 1. If the sum of the interior angles is less than 180 degrees, then the two lines will eventually intersect. 2. If the sum of the interior angles is 180 degrees, then the two lines are parallel and will never intersect. 3. If the sum of the interior angles is greater than 180 degrees, then the two lines will never intersect.
Good observation
If the lines are not parallel they will surely intersect , so the observation is correct but in third point the lines in one direction can never intersect but in other direction it can intersect because if they will never meet it and also not parallel means once they have already met , we can check that by extending them and in one direction we will see that they can intersect
why don't you stick to any one language sometimes its confusing
Awesome video for 5th postulate
Thanks
Don't worry about the haters who cant handle an accent.. wear it with pride!
- Good Video, concise and contains all the information you would need to understand if you are serious about it :)
Thanks for the video. This makes learning so much fun.

Sir, why angle 1 and angle 3 are less than 180? And what about angle 3 and angle 4 are they greater than 180 or equal to 180?

I am glad the video was of help to you! Cheers,
Sir, two lines are said to be parallel if they intersect at a point or if they do not intersect at a point?
Hi Prakashddm,
Parallel lines never intersect because they always maintain same distance between them. Similarly, intersecting lines can never be parallel.

Hello
Cool bro ur a genius person .ur videos r clear to understand. I would like to ask my one doubt that what is "universal truth"?
Hi Harsh,
You are awesome! Thank you for those kind words! I very much appreciate it. Glad you like the videos and find them helpful. Pls check out other videos as well.
For "universal truth", wow, that's an interesting question. I would say that anything or any fact that is universally (worldwide) accepted as TRUE is "universal truth" i.e. something like - sun rises from the east. Hope it helps!
Cheers,
Woh watt a great example bro.
Well!!
useful!

Thank you for subscribing. I appreciate it. Glad that you have found the videos helpful.
For the question you have asked, I am not sure which theorem you are referring to in "Lines and angles". Can you be please more specific? You can reply in that particular video's comment section and that way I will know which video you are referring to.
