Loved watching you choose pages love. I managed to get my hands on a copy (the last copy) of Droom Reis by Maria Trolle as I only have Luna. I have tried to get Droom Reis for over 2 years & it's on its way to me from Germany, I am so excited. It was lovely to get my fish page done, even if it took 10 days. Covid is a beast to get through. I hope you and your mam & family are doing okay love. Thanks for this video. I want to get another page done in Romantic Country the 2nd tale as I absolutely love how your beautiful page turned out. I have had problems with the paper in it but you said inktense works well in it so I am giving it a go. Albrecht Druher didn't like it at all. Take care and much love & *Virtual hugs* 💜💜💜
I hope you feel better soon Hun and so glad you got a copy of droomreis I bet it was lovely to finish a page I know you have been itching to colour did I say that lol I will have to give the inktense a go in romantic country I can't tember using them in there lol my brain lol but I really like the page I did in that book and yeah that paper is a bit tricky I find as it's very smooth 💜💜💜
I think there is a coating to the paper on some of Eirys books but as I have only done one page in it after failing using Albrecht Druher and I waited to get that one book it was disappointing to fight a page to that level. I think you used polys on your gorgeous Eiry page. I started my Hanna Karlzon with my polys and did over 12 layers but lost the fishes highlights so went back in with my prisma's. My left fish didn't have great highlights left as the paper was burnished but I used my opal Gamsai Tambi and then realised I had lost the shine of the pentel dual hybrids so I did it again. It was a real pleasure to take my time and immerse myself in the process. Now I shall move forward and all the lovely books I bought for my birthday on the 8th September will hopefully get coloured in. I really love Nostalgia, the Korean colouring book but I won't be doing muted colours. You like neon & I love my brights. Thanks for this video, my favourite spread was March, it looks awesome.
