I played, like, 20 matches of JJI 1v1’s for that 300% luck boost, and in my opinion; It’s very fun and intense, but it can be VERY frustrating. Block sometimes just doesn’t come out, sometimes you get frozen in place FOR THE ENTIRE MATCH (like can’t move, can’t dash, can only use movement moves and rush to move about [and, yes, I have won matches like this before because this game’s combat is just NOT skill based]) and you can barely pull off a combo longer than five seconds. I agree with you, it’s a fun but bad combat system.

the pvp in this game is an absolute joke and shit show. It goes like this: press e fast, tp to ur opponent, combo, they press h, do it again before they can even react because they have a few mins of stun when they escape from a combo... and for those losers who say "but u can parry or block" stfu, that doesn't do anything, if u block they just come back again to do the same thing and ur shield will be broken by then.. this game is garbage in terms of PVP. and lets be real, who tf is able to parry in a fast pace combat system like this where u can legit just press a button and teleport to ur opponent.
The blocking can actually work but that’s IF they don’t use demon vessel or gamble fever which has mad block breaks but you literally got count cuz it only works if they hit you 2-3 times after they get blocked but you definitely right about parrying the parrying is dog shit
Thing is too a lot of this game's problems can be fixed with a few number changes, rarities, exp, cool down on rush, difficulty, maybe spin obtainment but idrk and for the issues that arent as simple, the cursed spirit npcs do need better ai tho and damage but i think they'd need a complete overhaul, there's also balancing between different cursed techniques while the special grades should be the strongest the rest shouldn't be so drastically mid in comparison, there's also the combat which shouldn't be too hard to fix just *remove cursed tendril it's unneeded when rush is a thing amd honestly makes the H evasive pointless* there's definitely a lot of other fixes but it's all doable for early 2025 Yes i know this is a wall of text rant with a lack of punctuation
Even though i like this game alot one thing that you cannot deny is trash, is ranked they really need to nerf ALOT of stuff in this game, cause some moves like judgement can do up to 3 THOUSAND damage too you and reset your vent letting them start an entire OTHER combo, not only that but you can also summon minions in ranked to basically 2v1 people (when ten shadows drops its OVER) not only that most of the combos your opponets can do upto 2k-4k damage each and your vent will be at HALF its seriously bull imo

It's just spam, there's no real skill. And they have parrying during the rush, but there has to be a red arrow pointing towards you. If they genuinely balanced out the curses (They can still be really rare, just not stronger, it should be based on a player's playstyle preference), narrowed down the spamming and they cut off pay 2 win, no more gambling tactics and more content, the game would seem very promising. Also the game just has a lot of repetitiveness. I dunno, I'm yapping. But yeah, more content, no gambling and balance etc. Idk.
