- For a movie that hasn't even came out yet ppl are complaining about nothing tbh. While I do see valid arguments, most of the things I see are either really stupid or just unfair considering the movie hasn't even been released lmao you can't judge it yet. People who say Godzilla is woke because he's pink don't realize that they're literal 5 year olds complaining about something being girly because it's pink
It's crazy to me that some people are actually serious when they complain about it, sure it's not the majority but the fact that people think like that is something else lol

Yes! This, alongside Omni Viewer's video explaining why he won't compare G-1 to GXK, is the video we need! I think it all boils down to a conflation of tone with writing quality because even if a movies tone is silly and campy, it can still tell a story that makes sense. All Monsters Attack (Godzilla's Revenge) was for the most part a cohesive story about sending out the bullies. The last minute just contradicts that message with Ichiro bullying the billboard painter.
Exactlyyy, I am all for whatever tone a Godzilla film is going for as long as it's written good and has care behind it

Yeah definitely, the 2nd trailer was way better than the first and made the tone more apparent. I've seen some people talk about how it made them change their mind so hopefully people start to be more positive towards this film.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing about this argument so he’s pink which automatically makes him woke. No. He’s pink because he got a new energy source transform his body to better himself in combat against these new opponents Argument statement doesn’t make any sense. I have counterclaim have for this argument is the radiation spectrum because pink is the highest form of radiation Which is creative in a way which I can appreciate. When it comes to the statement if he’s pink, he’s woke doesn’t hold up. I’m realistically thinking inside of the human body our tongue is pink our organs pink does that make me woke. Does that make the other person next to me woke no it doesn’t so this statement if it’s pink it woke doesn’t hold up I get it now everybody doesn’t like the color pink. I are those would’ve thought. It would been cooler every stayed blue or it could’ve been a bright red, I see where they’re coming from and I totally respect that and I love the design even more because I was excited to see what he could do with this new form, but anyhow that’s my take. Hey u know what’s funny I believed in this movie and now people are praising it cause the second trailer fixed all of it and I saw fda a hater praising it I was just like that’s why I knew it was good I liked it and Godzilla doesn’t have to be a nuklear metifor like a certain someone said also last thing don’t get mad but my fave Godzilla series is Godzilla the series it is goated and what got me in the series

Godzilla can change between tones, there doesn't need to be only 1 type of Godzilla film, are u allowed to enjoy the more serious ones? Yes, but the more light hearted entries tie into the character, he can be expressed in various different ways
