Hello. I would like to know what is the name of the winch pulley you are using, I noticed you are not using the 3407-0002-0112 winch pulley. Can you give me the SKU for that part? it seems more sturdy than the original which keeps braking over time. Thank you in advance!
On the four stage kit is important to tension the cable when the slide is halfway extended, that is where it should be the loosest. From there the spring can extend and make sure the cable doesn't get too tight.
@@goBILDA thank you for the advice. We have done so. But, still at the maximum height the string is very loose and at the minimum height the ‘extension string’ is extremely tight = slowing drastically the contraction speed.
This is scary but thanks for the great guidance im somehow failing to follow because im tired

If my motor is struggling to move the viper slide is it maybe because the string is too taught or something else?
whats the max load the four stages can carry fully extended ?
WHAT A CHAD
would it be possible to assemble it with the motor on the back side of the slide instead of the front?
yes. use a 1201 quad block mount. I'm unsure if that impacts the performance or rigging of the slide though.
On a 4-stage slide, the string coil diameter change is too much to keep proper tension.
Has anyone noticed this?

@@ftc12731 We are having the same issue. I watched the video several times to make sure I was not missing a detail.
@@goBILDA the retraction is very slow because the extension cable is sooooo tight!
Nice.
No
can you make one of these for the different types of linear actuators
We can certainly add it to the list! Can you give some examples that you'd like to see?
