Christmas in JULY! - PART 1/3 - Real Time Composing

July is the time that music libraries start thinking about Christmas albums for upcoming seasonal shows so we should do the same. I'm going to use 'The First Noel' as a basis for this track. As I said in the video you can do an internet search to find public domain compositions, I'll pop a link below to the one I used. I hope you find it fun getting into the festive spirit so early in the year!

YEARS ago I sat in on a recording session for a Christmas album being recorded in the summer (July or August), so this video brought back that memory. Great video that gave me some ideas of my own. Cheers, Dex!

Ha ha... yeah, it's funny how you get used to thinking about festive tunes on the 'wrong' side of the year... my non-musician friends worry I've gone mad when I'm humming Merry Christmas at a July BBQ :)
